RSTeve, would those hot dogs be Nathan's? I hear they are the best...and not just cos they are kosher altho that's good that they are.

i havn't been to stadum for a long time.. so therefore i can't remember.. but yeah i like their ice cream.. and their beer dude!

Nachos or Southern boiled peanuts. They are messy but good.

When I just saw this topic WITHOUT
seeing the thread creator's name, I knew
that it must be from Raven :)
I love hot dogs especially from NY...
but I no longer live there anymore...

Funny you should ask, because I have always loved hot dogs. But it was during college football games that I started liking hot dogs WITH saurkraut. Now my mom thinks I am gross cuz I like hot dogs with saurkraut. It's all because of Alabama football :) Roll Tide!

Fenway franks do it on the grill. In baltimore they still do it since the 1950s way . When memorial stadium first opened in 1954 they steamed hot dogs in the boiling room back in those concession stands. The have a boiling pot Lay hot dogs on the rack and steamed them. Now at oriole park camden yards they still do it the same way. But in 1992 when oriole park camden yards first opened up they microwaved them fans were complaining ( Where are those hot dogs we enjoyed so much at memorial stadium?) So the orioles public relations dept listened to the fans and they bought back the traditional way they been doing it since 1954.In new york they use Nathan's brand but in baltimore they use ESSKAY!!!! To me Esskay is the best! .And by the way,, Thats the way the washington senators did it in RFK back in 1961. It will be intresting to see if the NATS ether grill them or mircowave them? I wonder if the NATS fans will be protesting to see if they want it done the oriole way?

Esskay? Never heard of the brand, but I've gotta try that sometime in the summer. Love grilled hot dogs! Geez... why would anyone would eat microwaved hotdogs?! It's like eating at McDonald's.

One thing I've noticed lately. Some places don't give you fresh nacho cheese. They just give you a little cup and it's less than they normally give you if it was poured on. It doesn't even taste as good.

Esskay is a local meat company in baltimore. Go to oriole park at camden yards in the summer. You might wanna take a trip down in ocean city too. Click on the links

As much you love dallas..I love baltimore too.The local products are cool like Parks Sausage Co. Esskay Meat Co. UTZ product co. UTZ makes good potato chips perhaps the best! Baltimore was once king of food factories. We even had the national brewing company makers of National Boh!!, Calling Black Label and Gunthers Beer. 1/2 of baltimores industry are gone now 25% of them moved out of baltimore 25% went out of business all the blame went towards jimmy carter and his political crap policies And the rest of the damage was blamed on bill clinton because of his booze tax policies. But baltimore is growing again. Were trying to become a criuse industry now. When Bob Erlich became the republican governor first time in 75 years i have seen changes in baltimore hes trying to lure the entertainment buisiness in baltimore i hope he gets it done. I also e-mailed the governor asking him to bring more food industry back to baltimore he replyed telling me were working on it and baltimore might get Starkist seafood company moved to baltimore. No wonder we have crabs all over the cheaspake bay. I can see it comming starkist canned crabs.

I love those Ballpark Franks. They're big and juicy. Yummy! :thumb:

Reba, what are Southern boiled peanuts? Boiled, then rolled in oil and salted, and then served warm? That was the best way I could guess how the goobers would be messy as you said. LOL!
