In the middle of the night? I'd rather go and take a photo shoot of the sunrise at 5am... maybe I could show you some eh?

Actually I would love to see the Australian sunrise.

How old is your car, DBGAL?

2006. Has a little over 50,000 miles on it. It's been through hell as I'm its primary driver (poor thing!).

We've been through a flash flood (it literally floated), chased by an elephant and a pissed off clown in Las Vegas (no, I'm NOT joking), driven cross-country four times, stuck on ice in New Mexico (and was actually on the news), survived two major tire blown outs, recently rear-ended by a teenager, and nearly swerved off of the mountain in Colorado.

She's (the car) is a tough girl. I hope she can get me through just one more big trip. I will kiss her tires for the rest of my life.

haha, chased by a clown, how come?

Thats why we have the freedom don't we, DHB?

Oh of course, do we, jiro???

I was driving along the Strip (that's where all the big casinos and entertainment "stuff" are) - and looking at Mapquest. It was my first time driving in Las Vegas - and I was lost as Nemo was. And scared to death. I was supposed to be at a convention center for a meeting. I'm driving along, trying to follow Mapquest (and later would learn that the directions were invalid as Mapquest was dead wrong) - and suddenly I realized the road looked kinda funny. I kept driving, and then realized I was driving..into..a..building. Oops. I drove inside..and lo and behold! There were exotic animals - some were in cages...some were not. And clowns walking on stilts (looked like they were practicing). I was like, omg! So I tried to go back...but there wasn't a place to turn around. And suddenly...there was a very tall clown coming at my window...I could see his crotch at my window..so I looked up and saw his painted happy face was not happy at all. He started talking...and I motioned I couldn't hear (pointed at my ear and shook my head). He started yelling, pointing between the lion cages. So I backed up...and that's when I saw the elephant. It was actually a white one. And it was pissed off. It started to charge at me and some of the clowns were yelling and trying to help some of the people calm it down. The mean, mad clown yelled at me and started to motion for me to go! I hit the gas pedal and got the hell out of there!

Yes. A true story.

wow..... that's just fucking amazing. i'm not exactly sure how can you drive into circus because it should be very obvious. damn! that's a hell of a story to tell! imagine the audience's reaction!

Wooaahhh, interetesting! Never again, eh?

It wasn't during a performance (uh...at least that I know of) - it was in the back of the building. I was so focused on following the directions that I really wasn't aware of the environment. I was like, ok..turn right here...turn left here...etc. And then realized...I'm driving inside a building?!

hahaha! I guess that explains it better. No performance = not too obvious. lol looks like you're just another victim of MapQuest mishap. At least you didn't drive to the river or off the mountain like I've heard in news about drivers following their GPS.

Thank god, my GPS didnt guide me to the nearest river!
