Update..the doctor told my sister that due to the infection in her abdomen her kidney's are being compromised. He is looking to send her to Shands as soon as possible. She apparently has about 10 lbs of fluid in the abdomen that needs to be flushed but with the kidney's being affected it's not happening very fast.

Have a new update:

Latest on my sister...they moved her room, she is in isolation since her white count is back to 1 and platelets dropped to 11,000. They gave her platelets today. The swelling in her stomach is going down some, thank God. She really appreciates all the comments, thoughts and prayers and they really make her feel better.

Girls beating up boys? Now that's new to me.

Kristina I'm glad to hear your sister is still hanging in there. I'll add her to my prayer list as well. :)

Thanks ladies. Just a note, she's not my sister, just a really great friend. I didn't clean it up. Faith's sister Cindy has been sending posts on her status. I really wish I had a sister, but I got stuck with two older brothers.

When I was growing up I also wanted a sister, but I was stuck with an older brother. :lol:

I begged and begged my mom to have another baby so I could have a sister. Little did I know at the time that it was impossible. She had everything taken out a year after I was born.
 
Well, not physically beating up on the guy. Actually, he's still here, so I guess they weren't too bad on him. Guess they're still friends.

Oops, sorry..

I have 3 brothers and one sister. She holds the fort while our parents went out when we were little because she is the oldest.. :giggle:
 
I learn it not good seems not strong! I am very stress cause research find I try best hard work!
 
I learned that Alaskan bush pilots are required to learn how to land on a remote highway with traffic. :shock: My jaw absolutely dropped when I watched this on NatGeo. I was like WTF? Are the crazy? This is potentially fatal if not done absolutely correct. But it was cool to watch them do it. They have to do this when they are in remote wilderness areas where there are no runways and they are forced to land for whatever reason.

I just learned that my uncle was friends with the family with that 9 year old girl who was klilled during the Tucson shootings. The 9/11 girl. I am shocked beyond belief now....

Not that fatal if they landed.

Always have been :giggle: I used to save abandoned kittens found in garbage dumps, feed them, raise them and then give them to the RSPCA to find good homes for them. My home was a cat shelter.

My daughter is allergic to cats of all things :-( She can tolerate one, but all 4....we will just have to wait and see.

My husband loves all animals but is partial to dogs mostly. I am the same but cats are always my favourite.
 
Nice vid PFH. I wonder what explaining they have to do to the FAA and local law authorities for landing on a highway in downtown without prior permission or approval.

I am sure it is an absolute last measure kind of thing as I would probably be freaking out if I met an airplane driving down the highway.

If I were the business owner of the place they pulled into I would be like : "Why is there an airplane in my parking lot?"
 
i learned the importance of realising the marketing hype of even the 'best savigonon blanc' do occur, it wasnt bad just too -one-dimensional- and yeah it DID showed some flavours as described, but was too subtle, (i can detect it) but it wasnt blanketing the tongue like GOOD wines would...it was fine on balance, acidty, body, smoothness and texture but the boldness of flavour wasnt there at all....hmmm anyways thats what i learnt- hype do happen but again it 'doesnt happen as often to the experience tasters' so i could say here that im more of an advanced taster now...but same time i have came to be more wary on how they hype it for sales....its not fair for inexperienced wine drinkers...and not fair for 'seasoned' wine tasters who are not wealthy...
