Thinking its time I do my research on low cost electric mowers.

I had a 19" Craftsman that lasted about 5 years. The two I casually looked at today were a B&D 18" 12 amp for $199 and a Greenworks 21" 13 amp for $189.
The Greenworks is appealing because of it's larger deck/blades. I read good reviews so far on it. I haven't reviewed the B&D yet but suspect it will have good reviews also.
 
got me thinking i need go in garden mow lawn but thought of cat crap everywhere(every cat in county craps in my garden)
 
Why would someone want to buy an electric mower? That's just asking for trouble and is a bigger pain in the ass than a rotary mower.

I would never ever buy such a silly thing either.
 
Thinking how nice it was to finally get out of the house today. Took my mom and brother to lunch. Stopped by the cemetery to see my dad. Visited family for a few hours then home. My body is not operating at a very high level lately. Just a little bit at a time and maybe go out once a week. Hopefully that will change one of these days. Upsetting when you get to this age where you can start traveling and having some fun and my body wont let me:-(

Can't be tree huggers. Using electricity is kind of a no-no.

Someone who doesn't want to deal with trying to start a gas mower, having to buy gas for the mower, maintenance of a gas mower, etc. My last electric lasted 5 years with only needing to have to get the blades sharpened each year and one repair in the 4th year.
For me, dealing with the cord is less of a hassle.
To each his own.
 
I prefer the corded one over cordless one. If you want electric one, go used. I have done fine with electric ones. Craftsman and BD are good brands. Cannot go :wave:wrong with them. I'm not a fan of electric corded mowers, but it's easy for me to find them cheap and turn around and ask more. Yeah, they're good for environment. I'll just prefer manual reel or gas if I was to buy for myself to use.

I've had my mower for years and I bought it used for like fifty bucks... self-propelled and all. Sharpen blades once a year? Pshaw.

Thinking how beautiful it is to get out of house. All the trees are blooming. Cherry and plum trees mostly.

My leg is strong enough so I went to the store by myself. Did really well until I spilt my whole soda at the checkout.

Might take Marley for a short walk if the mosquitos leave me alone.
