Lordy! :eek: You're right. I didn't realize it had been two years already. On a similiar note, did you all know it's been nearly 19 years since Challenger blew up?

Time does fly.
oh crap.. now u made me old *thud* when u talk about challenger.. cuz i remmy watching it in school cuz whole school is excited to show live cuz of teacher is inside the challenger... then we watched.. then it exploded.. then whole school went in shock and wish they didn't show on live.

they did all of that, just to fix the satellite or something?
Is there any other way to get weather report without
using the satellite?

seem like florida and carolinas got hurriicanes.

we don't really need to know about the rain.

why not stay away from the ocean and keep off the ocean,
and just fly over the ocean?

I was from New Hampshire myself but I just moved to Rochester, New York last July. I saw Christa McAuliffe's grave last fall. Her grave was filled with pencils and rulers. That's because she is high school teacher and first teacher going into space. I was in 4th grade, I was watching TV. When it was exploded I shouted "YAY!" I thought she did went into space but....my teacher gotten sad all of sudden. I asked what going on but the teacher still looking at TV. Then teacher told the class that she didnt make it. I was embarrassed for saying "yay!" God bless Christa! :cry:

My son was born that week. I remember, I was holding him in my arms and saw a special news. I was shocked to see the challenge blew up.

The Challenger and Columbia disasters were truly awful events. Very sad. :(
