Was There Just a Major New Chemical Weapons Attack in Syria?

Shouldn't Assad be arrested for a mass murder if UN finds him being held accountable? How would UN get him?

Yes, I agree.

Like Jiro said, UN is powerless without US and I don't think UN will solve anything (they are comical).

Our country kills over 1 million babies every year....we are really in no position to be judging others. I don't support the UN either.

This is 15th time Syria poisoned its own people who were innocent defenseless women and children. Should we still back off while other Middle East countries do nothing about it?

From Foxrac's latest link:

The British dossier on Syria also concluded the Syrian government had used chemical weapons on 14 previous occasions. Cameron said he believes al-Assad opted to increase the scale of his chemical attacks as a sort of test for the world.

"He wants to know whether the world will respond to the use of these weapons," the prime minister said.

which of the rebles do we help as they dont all agree with each other but they all agree with al-quedea and they mostly hate the west

WMDs are our business, if a limited preemptive strike is necessary to prevent proliferation and use of these weapons, HIT 'EM! The civil war is another matter, forget about it! But Syria IS responsible for its chemical weapons stash!

do "nothing" about it? not really. they ARE but we are interfering. let the citizens deal with it like what they did to Libyan dictator. I'm standing up and clapping for them because these citizens are actually doing something about it if their governments are doing something wrong like Egypt, Libya, etc.

and us? we just sit down and blame while eating McDonalds and chugging sodas. shameless.

I believed US did involved in Libya - airstrikes.

Interpol can arrest them from OUT of the country although they do not make an arrest themseles.

Its work focuses primarily on public safety, terrorism, organized crime, crimes against humanity, environmental crime, genocide, war crimes, piracy, illicit traffic in works of art, illicit drug production, drug trafficking, weapons smuggling, human trafficking, money laundering, child pornography, white-collar crime, computer crime, intellectual property crime and corruption.

Iraq people didn't fight back because they were afraid of being killed under Saddam's order. After we eliminated Saddam's power, they celebrated it.

As for Libya, we did it. We stopped the vehicle where the dictator hid in by airstrike. That's how the rebels got him after he got out of the bombed vehicle.

As for Egypt, we back off because we don't know who we support. The coup or pro-Morsi supporters? We will see if the coup is killing women and children or not.

Now as for Syria, can you tell me how the rebels get Assad while he orders more chemical attacks on them? :hmm:

they didn't fight back because there was nothing going on. no WMD. nothing. we basically destroyed their country for nothing.

As for Libya, we did it. We stopped the vehicle where the dictator hid in by airstrike. That's how the rebels got him after he got out of the bombed vehicle.
95% of the problem was dealt by citizens. Gaddafi should have listened to the world's warning that he should not attack citizens indiscriminately.

As for Egypt, we back off because we don't know who we support. The coup or pro-Morsi supporters? We will see if the coup is killing women and children or not.
they can handle it just fine.

Now as for Syria, can you tell me how the rebels get Assad while he orders more chemical attacks on them? :hmm:
then the world will have a solid proof that it was Assad who used chemical weapons... not the rebels. that would means the Russians and Chinese will back off and let the world deal with it.

right. we've already invaded Iraq in 1991. I'm talking about 2003. The reason for attacking Iraq was because of a "link" between Saddam and Osama bin Laden responsible for 9/11... which was nonexistent..... and the possession of WMD.... which was nonexistent

CNN recently reports that the British government will not get involved in military actions against Syria.
