That one awesome video, I'll like to go to one again some days, They're much louder when you're there in person. It's one of the very interesting sports to watch. ;)

Yeah first compress then spin then decompress interesting! it goes small then bigger than normal! that's dang awesome!
 
Its the torque a drag race machine will produce. The Top Fuel and Funny Car motors generate over 5,000 horsepower and the air pressure in the tires are much lower to aid in traction.

Very cool! The drag car's tires will reach 600 degrees F which is really hot for the tires. They can go about more than 300 miles per hour in only 1/4 of a mile which is about 1,320 ft long. IT can take about 4 to 5 seconds to reach that speed in a top fuel race. The top fuel engines can reach more than 9,000 rpm maximum engine speed which is pretty high for a huge block which is about 502 cu in or so.

I saw a web site explaining about the custom Acura Integra drag car with a 4,000 hp 4.8 liter 4 cylinder engine. It is really interesting to see something different from a 8 cylinder one.
