Wal-mart

you can say this and you can say that, i still say walmarts is phat;;;;;;; :giggle:

Interesting, that some of you hate Wal-Mart. I don't have those name in the area where I live.

Yes, we have Wal-Mart in Germany but not area where I live. I heard that Wal-Mart is somewhere in Munich which it's over 200km away from my area.

I goes to store with reasonable price since I have family. Why should I buy expensive one when I compare the prices with same things from different stores.

thanks. i wish i can bomb those links to this post that in fact walmart doesnt really CARE about the natures, histories, and home subdivisions... etc... but i respect yall. :|

off topic: yesterday the bush administration opened 58 million arces of national forests to anyone such as lumber companies, oil companies, etc. what a sad news :tears:

I like Wal-Mart I think that store is a lot better than Super-Kmart.

I shop at Wal-Mart, and found their prices good to be true, and never had a problem with items that were broken like I did at Kmart. Kmart is the one that sucks. :laugh2:

Walmart is okay to go but they're horrible place to shop on weekends. It's like half of the town are meeting there when I was living in Ohio for three years.
Parking lot were filled from front of the store to near the road which is couple of yards. The lines were so packed.

Now I'm back in Chicago, Wal-marts are all out in the burbs and I usually shop wherever are closer. :)

a walmart heir died yesterday in plane crash....

and someone on AOL said something rude, "Sad jerk like JFK Jr, Those guys had all this "dough" amounts none of us could ever hope to see in our lifetimes to hire the best pilots in the world. Yet they flew their own planes to their death." :jaw: This is a :( world we live in.

You got it right. I totally agreed with you.

Someday, their children will not able to go anywhere because national parks and nature walks will be severely limited due overpopulation commerical companies.

Suppose, I imagine that all parking a lots (included food markets) will be installed meter polls, toliet booth meters, chart-wheeler meters for food stores, dressing room meters, ... almost everything are not free. That would give you drive up the wall. Perhaps, affect your life as the last resort to create another a revolution war...

I wish that our people need to conserve our lands that will prevent Wal-marts from developing buildings especially horror eminent domains.

Gee! I don't think Flyfree invented that slang for Wal-fart!
Believe it or not, some of my friend called me fart-man! I ended up calling Wal-fart about 5 years ago! I still call em Wal-fart! So, I don't know anybody before me calling em that way.

Despite the fact that I call Wal-fart, I DO shop there. I really don't care what other thinks. We want to get rich anyway, the only way to get rich is not to spend something that has higher price tag. Its all about "Buying power".
I am not in for unionized product! They demanded higher wage, and don't want any people with disability to get hired in their workforce. So, why should I patronize unionized product when they refused to hire me basis on my deafness? PLUS as right now, I only earn about a third of what those union worker earns! So do I care about them? NO FUCKIN WAY!
Wal-Fart is SMART not to have union in their business! That is HOW they kept their price LOW!

You want this way. Wal-mart thanks you to make the company much richer than you are. It will step on your face to get out of your house in order to build another Wal-mart store right on your sweet home. I am sorry I do not want to insult you. Please think about it. That is the real problem in our era.

Welcum to Capitalism! If we control companies in America, then where is democracy? If you wish gov't to control business, then move to Canada, they got socialism which limits capitalism.

Look at Russia, they used to have communist, same with East German back then. NO ONE wants to improve the quality of life for everybody there. Know why? That is because when you invent something in communist, you get what? PEANUTS! While here in America, you get royalities! That is how America was able to have everything you could possible want.

Also, back then before K-Mart pops up, what do America have in their middle class household? Not pretty much! Now you see luxury stuff nowadays in middle class homes! That is because K-mart and the likes enable middle class worker afford the luxurious stuff.

I like Walmart, and STILL shopping there for food, clothes, and reasonable prices on everything. Also I buy 50lbs dog foods from Walmart for cheap price. No kidding. Like for example.. 50 lbs Kibble-n-Bit dog food for $13.49 and Giant Eagle, Kroger, Kmart, or Target, they have the same brand and pound for $18.99! I like Walmart better than other stores and I still shopping there.

Also my boy is a Wal-mart boy, he get all the baby clothes to 4T-5T clothes, coats, bottles, formula and diapers from Walmart too. Also I got my new flat screen 27 inches Symphonic TV for $110.00 and the same brand of the TV in other place like Best Buy, Circuit CIty, etc for $500 bucks.

Beside, I only live 10 miles from Walmart and it is GREAT to go there for little things that I can afford it.

I also wanted to add that in fact without these capitalism, we won't be able to find jobs! It is about economy! If we don't have capitalism, we would be just renting with rotten landlords. PLUS living on SSI or welfare!
But because of more jobs available, then more people CAN afford homes. So whats your point? Either way, makes no difference.

I know it sounds strange, BUT it is best to understand the background of economy. Money have to come from somewhere, money don't grow on trees.

Without rich people, there won't be jobs available!

I can prove that, easy! Remember back then when we had passed "Luxury sales tax" that was established by federal gov't back in 1992. 10% National sales taxes would add to luxury stuff valued more than $50,000. On January 1992, that became effective. 6 months later, thousands of worker lost jobs because of this! Howcome they lost jobs? Those people who makes Yachts, fancy products, etc for the rich people. But Because rich people would be forced to add 10% of their shopping expenses to taxes? FORGET IT, Rich people won't buy anything, so who lost? So, 6 months later, this proves HUGE failure, and add debts to gov't because they have to spend money to try to collect cute tax dollars and spend three times more to those people who lost their jobs.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to win over rich people. They are ALREADY way ahead of us, so the trick is to be nice with them and you might live comfortable.

So, you see, if we destroy the Wal-Fart, hundred thousands of people who work for Wal-fart will surely lined up in Unemployment office and they WILL be REAL PISSED off big time! So who will be the real losers?

That PR website is full of hogwash. Not even does it fool the senators who demanded information from walmart on how many of their employees are on medicaid.

With that info I'm sure Walmart will come crashing down as fast as one of it's heirs did last Sunday.

Thats mean...how would you like it if someone made a reference to one of your family members that just died like that? I can understand you want to make a point in how you feel about the site and the corporation but to reference someone that just lost their life in that way is uncalled for....

Reba absolutely hit it right on the nail. So many of us hate Walfart, yet we shop there anyway. It's a love-hate relationship!

I think I can easily say that within 10-15 miles radius from my address that there are AT LEAST FIVE Walfarts in the Greater Salt Lake Valley. They just razed an entire complex of Mexican market building to make room for a SuperWalfart next door from a Walmart location, then what will they do with the old Walfart building? I wonder!!!

You don't get it. There are always another companies that can help people to get a job. Actually, most companies don't give a shit about you They want to make sure that its family business keep growing in order to eliminate our traditional stores. Now, most traditional stores are, of course, selling big rip-off prices because their competition are getting weak. And, people who invested their stock that made the Wal-marts grow. It is really wrong for Wal-mart owner to use the eminent domain nowadays.

Some states allow new Wal-mart owners not to pay tax for three years because I heard that they want to use the money to pay their employees first. It cames out that they don't use that way.

diehardbiker65 - Do you know what is eminent domain?

Why the company use it to hurt our American family? If your grandparents or your parents owns a nice farm or 10 acres of peaceful trees, it is a nice for you to memory when you were little kid playing with the kids in the back of big farm. Boom, there is a new Wal-mart on your grandparents' property. It creates a pollution and hidden problems. Your memories are gone because of this eminent domain. There are so many available buildings, and I want them to use that empty buildings, not on rich soil.

Let's say that commerical owners took over a farm, and converted to a big store. Someday, an owner decided to destroy the building and convert to a farm. It is impossible because the rich soil underground is no good - it is a permanet damage due the company put poor/cheap soil and mixed with rich soil. All the good minerals are disappeared The rich mineral make the plants grow naturally. Remember not all vegetable plants do not live together in western states.
