Traffic in many German cities is atrocious, and some people don't have the patience to wait for a train to show up and be herded on the rails like some sort of cattle.

That's stupid but cannot do it in LA subway but stairs are too wide for small car to running into subway station. NYC subway is too hard because stairs are pretty narrow.

Shit, boult u made me envious to take my car around either the NYC or Chicago subways.... But I wouldnt even want to attempt it cuz I hate the thought of running into a train head-on.

That guy in Germany sure got more balls than me to run his Golf thru the U-bahn. He's that damn lucky the cops didnt have his ass for supper!
 
Guys and Gals! pay attention to the video again! (those are videos from security cameras!)

NO, the driver didn't use the stair! the driver drove into the tunnel where the tracks are!

And the tracks you see are TRAM tracks not TRAIN

so that's why it was drivable in the tunnel

And somewhere in USA some subway tunnels are drivable because the ground in tunnel are concrete so they do not need a "railroad tie" so no bumpity bump...

Sable, you might be able to do that as long you go in same direction that tram is going but not in opposite direction. But You wouldn't want that because of security cameras LOL this driver will have his ass hauled to prison for several counts! ;)

well cars can drive on trolley tracks in SF as well

oh yea LOL that driver can be nuts to drive though the tunnel see the video that ppl on the planform look at the car like it was crazy enuff to do that
 
People CAN drive cars on the route that goes into a tunnel thru downtown Seattle which is for bus (since 1990) and light rail (under construction), of course no one has done that because they wouldn't dare doing that.
 
Hmm... I wonder if this guy was playing too much Grand Theft Auto 3. There's a part in the game where you can take your car down into the subway and drive on the tracks. :)
 
That crazy driver was lucky not to run into the trains. Maybe he studied the train schedules earlier and timed his car runs thru the tunnels. :cool:
 
I would love to do that in Germany , go real fast it would be better to be in a Porsche. ;)
 
Interesting, that guy is crazy to drive an car in tram track.. heh

Would be very interesting to see if someone drive the car in Japan on the fastest train track. Prolly too fast.
