Where can I find the latest Baltimore Deaf Happy Hour?
I would love to go to the next BDHH event.

It has not listed a place for March 19th. hmm.... Do you know who is directly responsible (not entirely checked the web site out)

Hmm.. how if we dedicate a website to "United States Deaf Happy Hour" indicating the schedules for all states?

Alex, what do you think?

That's a great idea, LinuxGold. I've thought about this before, but I would need some help to establish the website. It would nice to include all Deaf Happy Hour events from every state. :thumb:

Any volunteers?

I will be more than glad to help since I'm intensive CSS coder. Only thing that I will need is graphics and possibly php?

I don't think we would need a php server for this since there isn't much information to go on. Perhaps a Forum for it?

i just looked at the website for BDHH and it lists a Gerri Murray as the host and u are right the March 19th location isnt listed as of yet -- i would prolly just email the host and ask her why the BDHH website is not updated regularly as it was noted the last update was DECEMBER 2003!

*GASP*

heh

Hopefully we will create USDHH.org for entire Nation of the United States.

How should we call the domain as?
"UnitedStatesDeafHappyHour.org"
or what?

suggestions!!

Okay folks, I'm not sure if General Discussion is suitable forum for this implementation, however, I do it to speed up the implementation idea. Alex, if you think of better forum, please feel free to move this thread elsewhere.

The purpose of this thread is to cooperatively work together to bring up USDHH into existence. What we would need is:

A server for USDHH to reside on.
A domain name www.usdhh.org
PHP server (To keep track of schedule times and statement, not a forum)
Graphics for web banner
Web designer (strictly CSS) – Scott Hamm (the more the better, email me)

If I’m missing something, please post them up!

The web is currently under development:
USDHH development

THAT would be great to have an idea abt those, and also other deaf events the monthly ones too for small local communities such as my island, Orchidland Isle Deaf Club, in which im the Vice President and i can give u the updates after March 27th as im currently getting this yr's locations and dates on march 27th at the workshop! :)

and ofc i can inform u ASAD's website and etc after the date mentioned so that u can get Ohau's info Maui's info and Kauai's Info too. So once i find out those information i ll be sure to pass them along for the benfits of the Deaf community all over this Islands! :)

This month's club meeting is a public workshop, run by the ASAD for the learning benfits of how we run each meetings. and how it's estblish for better benifiting the Deaf Community on this island! :) it's being held at Ed and Marjie Park's home for this month's BBQ style :) oh yes it's a potluck :) those who are in hawaii that's your info! :)

JavaPride

That sounds great! I will let you know as soon as USDHH is available!

I'm currently working on the web design and I will ask for feedback as soon as they become available.

great thanks linux i ll pass info to u i ll make sure u get bunch of info by march 28th so if u perfer e mail or PM or here in posting lemme know :)

No problem JavaPride.

Can anyone check my Web work layout and give me feedback?

Can anyone do graphics? I need a United States flag in the background with some wine glass in a corner somewhere top left, top right, bottom right or bottom left.

Post it here and show it to us -- We can make a selection from there to use for USDHH. The more the merrier -- an opportunity to change design every 2 to 3 months.

Tell us what you want on the USDHH, a direction to the location, GPS loc (for GPS device) or whatever.

hm good idea since everyone depends on www for deaf events now and then I guess ;)

Someone is already ahead of you. They are work on to have nationwide for DPHH since Jan.

Illustrator, Heya! Been for a long time!!

I am almost done with dphh development. Right now I'm working on contents...

Where is dphh anyhow?

Illustrator:

Oh, by the way do you have pictures of deaf people having fun? Signing with beer in hand or something? Like "What's up" in sign language or something?

I'm going to use that on USDPHH's web site. -- CSS based design.
