Ahh I see. Well, Texas is NOT for me anyways. I hate humidity. Blaaaah FYI, Alaska is bigger than Texas. :D You can check that out yourself. ;)

funny thing one time sweetheart saw a giant mosquito on the wall last year here in washington state. she freaked out and killed it on the spot. it wasn't a mosquito, its a crane fly. it looks like a giant mosquito though. they're harmless, though.

Not here where we live, no mosquitoes. They do not exist in the desert.

U mean Mosquitoes eater? They are best one. ;)

They do exist in the deserts but very very small in numbers. Mostly near lakes and rivers in the deserts.

yeah we have some lakes in san jose.. and i crack up cuz my friend lives near lake and have to deal with mosquites.. :laugh2: but it bites when I visit him.. I have to wear my stupid jacket at night so I don't have to deal with mosquites bittting me :ugh2:

I know. I'm talking about lakes, calm rivers, etc. If you go to a place where they have lakes or a calm river, there's mosquitoes. They usually hang out in cooler spots in mountainous regions.
