Did you see me say "voltage? I said cranking power which everybody knows to mean Amps!

I've never heard of compressed air unless you mean piston giong up to compress the mixture of fuel and air. Or did you mean compressed air for brakes? Which is why they make that awful sound when they come to stop??

Again, I never said for proof that engine dont need any heat for cold start.

Of course you didn't! I did! I am asking you for proof that a diesel engine doesn't need heat at all in order to start which you have yet to provide.

i missed that sorry... air brakes only make noises when you release the peddle or parking brake(or apply)... you might be thinking about engine braking or the jake brake which makes a hell of a racket going down the road if its used to slow a truck down.
