Tips for improvement MPG.

Not quite. It means don't take everything for the truth.

There was a time I was deep into the auto world.
Last I knew, cold air intakes only increase HP by a minimal amount, and not even that much. The best custom cold air intake created by using custom PVC piping to bend/shape it to the front/bottom of the car for direct air intake only increases HP by a minimal value of like ~1-4 HP.

Doesn't change MPG to my knowledge, or it's unnoticeable.

I've changed spark plugs too as well, I have to go with what S.O.B. said. It's not the spark plug performance, its actually the grade of petroleum that one fills up their car with.

There IS one cheap ass way to get some more MPG out of your car, if it's a bit out of shape (ie, natural depreciation)

Take out the carburetor and fuel injectors and clean heck out of them. Pain in the butt to remove both however. ;)

Are you saying it's not a pain in the ass to remove only one of those? :rofl2:

How is my comments pointless? I am just saying don't believe every word you read on internet. Also I've been driving since I was 14 up till a year ago. I know plenty of what's going on. I just chose to not have a car for time being cause I don't want all the bills associated with owning a car.

Nope. Not just internet. Everything like Motor Trend, Automobile, Popular Science, Popular Mechanics, and myself.

I finally learn how to rebuilt the gasoline engine, alternator, and transmission. I can't wait to learn how to rebuild for diesel engine. I noticed diesel engine is way easy than gasoline engine.

Did you know that mostly semi truck have four batteries some of them are two batteries but they still use 12.6.

I knew they had more than one battery. It's cause those need more cranking power since it works off of heat and compression. Those engines have high compression in order to set off the explosion. That's why they don't have spark plugs, they however do have glow plugs to help heat up the fuel till engine can get warm.

Surprised yet??

Lot to work with PVC piping. Need welding skill for bend.

Doh! I forget about that. Yeah PVC is plastic. I was talking about metal pipe.
I never built the PVC piping before but just under the sink.

No,

Batteries connection in parallel will increase the overall current but not increase power like voltage. so You see why battery said "CCA" it mean Cold cranking Amp. Amp = current.

Not all diesel always use glow plug. Some of them use compresssed air.

No surprised.

Wanna know what the glow plugs are for?

Did you see me say "voltage? I said cranking power which everybody knows to mean Amps!

I've never heard of compressed air unless you mean piston giong up to compress the mixture of fuel and air. Or did you mean compressed air for brakes? Which is why they make that awful sound when they come to stop??
