This will make you sad and mad!

This shows that they knew that killing the goose was wrong:

"Soon parks officials and police arrived. One of the three workers ran into the woods and couldn't be located."

He knew he was guilty.

Or its.... I.N.S!

OR....

Secrest ran to get binoculars for a better look. When she returned, she said, she watched one of the park workers jump into the water, grab one of the geese, wring its neck and stuff it in a bucket. The three tried to get the other goose, but it took off, she said.

The workers then drove off laughing on a park cart with the dead goose concealed under netting in the bucket, Secrest said.

They could have been laughing due to the one jumping into the water.

My question is why didn't the woman who ran to get her binoculars run out to the workers to deter them from harming the goose? If she spent time running to get the binoculars, she could've spent the time running to prevent the unnecessary geese deaths.

Maybe the woman was afraid that they would wring HER neck! I wouldnt want to approach 3 guys torturing animals..who knows what they would do to me! :Ohno:

Yeah, and the woman would have cause an altercation with the men that she doesn't know. Possibly putting herself in harms way. So why would she?

Of course they were laughing that he jumped in the water, and the reason he jumped in the water was to kill the goose. They found it humorous.

The resident called the police. She reported the crime of bird killing. She had no clue that the guys were Mexican.

Besides, it's ICE now, not INS. Get with the times. :P

It doesn't matter if they laughed or cried while they killed the goose. The goose is dead either way.

One woman alone against three guys at the edge of the woods? Does that seem wise?

Also....what did they do with the dead goose?

Throw it in the garbage can?
The police probably kept if for evidence, just like they do in other animal cruelty cases.

In Montana and Oregon, illegally killed game of that size (or game parts) are packaged in air-tight bags, frozen, and preserved within the proper chain of evidence pending outcome of a case.

Afterwards, edible game is auctioned at public sales, monies going to state and/or federal habitat restoration projects. Some game is precessed and donated to organizations like Meals-on-Wheels or community food programs.

Have you ever watch "Bizarre food with Andrew Zimmerman" on Travel Channel? He ate any wild animal in the world. This is so sicko! But in the America's horses, rooster, eagle and other wild animals are illegal to eat. In Chinese people ate a real dog and cat. I hate it!!! I love the dog. I am not going to eat my dog. This is so disgust! The Chinese eat any exotic food like rabbit, rat, guinea pig and more. I do love to eat a meat from cow, pig, chicken, seafood, and lamb that all. But not a wild animal. I don't mind to eat a deer.
