This past week has been hell if you happen to be a resident of the Smith 7 house. This past Sunday, the product of boredom and loss of intelligent thought in groups just happened to be us laughing our asses off at putting stale dog droppings in our deadbeat roommates pillow and putting a bag of fresh human feces in his dog's kennel. What was our justification? Nothing except that this roommate hasn't paid rent and has been acting very sketchy. The next day we all felt the backlash. Fast forward to last night. Roommate D, the ringleader of the previous group, is out of town. All week the phrase "6 dogs" has been hyped. The plan was to release 6 dogs in his bedroom. With a larger group over and a lamed conscious, last night was supposed to be even worse. The dogs plan went sour, and we ended up just sitting around proposing ideas. First , we ended up removing a poster and a picture from his wall and put it up in the living room. I went to bed, trying to get to sleep. When I heard a bunch of screaming and yelling outside my door. So I walk out, and my friend explains that someone urinated in a cup, and they were leaving it hidden in his room. So after, we're all sitting around in the living room, and suddenly some suggests "we should piss in his wine bottles." We have a rule, no drinking in the house, and D has broke this rule before. So, I volunteer for the job. I take the empty wine bottle, and a funnel upstairs, and well.... You know. We put the bottle back, and that's that. After everyone leaves, my roommates and I end up conceding that we're going to fix it. And so we take the hidden cup out, and the bottle of urine, and put his poster and picture back.
After all this, I'm only left wandering, what in the hell causes us to do stupid stuff to one another!? What is it that gets in our minds at actually makes us think "this is a good idea." Anyone been in a situation before where you did something extremely stupid or cruel to someone, and just look back, shaking your head?
