Not at all. Again you can be a friend without supporting a friends activities.
That's not what I said but that's a nice try
Can you be friend with gay people while you support anti-gay policy?

Which devotion of Christianity is the true christian to you?
I've seen various forms and attended congregations, each are unique in their own.
Neither of you and kokonut are homophobia.
You are correct.A true Christan would want nobody to go to hell. If a person that claims to be a Christan but believes a person should rot in hell is not a true Christan.
That's cool
I am saying it is your choice to limit the pool you choose your friends from. I try not to limit my pool too much..... The more friends the better as far as I am concerned.

Yup, exception of my grandma and relatives, and if I know some of them is homophobia so I wouldn't want discuss about homosexual related topic with them, however they are still my families and I should love them.
I edited my post to make some additional about reasons above.
If any person whoever opposes some section of gay rights or all because of their personal belief so that's not homophobia. Homophobia is means anyone whoever start bash, provoke, threat, bully, attack against homosexual people and too pushy for them to change. I'm hardly to see homophobia in AD, except for political debate that may get too personal.
as long as you are not a hypocrite![]()
that was what I was trying to ask...if someone who is like that can be friends with a gay person?
Sure they can.....why not? It's a choice......do they get past it or not?
Really? If it was me who was the gay person, I wouldnt be able to get past it knowing that my friend is out there harrassing other gay people because of their lifestyle.
Just curious, what is your definition of harrassing?

exactly my point.
If a person is friend with this gay person but is mean to other gay people.... and yet in debate - he hides behind the fact that he is friend with gay person. what's up with that?
hence.... a confused person.
Like what Foxrac described in #108 hence my post.

I guess that would depend on the definition of harassing....
If someone is out there beating gay people with a club I doubt many gay people will want to be friends with them.......
If someone opposes gay marriage and votes against it......sure....it's just a difference of opinion. Most friends have many.
yes. that's true.... until that person is against every (or nearly all) gay-friendly policy like... allowing gay people in military. allowing gay people to adopt children. allowing gay people in Boy Scout. etc.
