I wanted to address this from the other thread....

Remember he had emailed me with the death threats last year. So I knew his yahoo screen name
 
Wow I havent been in here for a while. I just popped in and out. Now I read the whole 7 pages and learning this. Yes he is sick man and need to be stopped. I am glad that he have been banned. I knew this time was coming.

Thanks you Alex for making this forum a safe place for all of us included a younger members or the members who have a younger child who look into this forum. :hug:

I know it is a hard job but you did what you had to do.

I have a couple of questions for Taylor
that are not clear:

#1) Did you mean that Buckdodger actually
showed up at the hotel ?
#2) Did he ever get arrested at the hotel yet ?

I have some other concerns, but I will wait
until I get answers from Taylor first. Thanks.

In the near future, I hope that the forum rules that
anyone under 18 years olds shall NOT be allowed on this forum.
Just a suggestion.

yes, he was banned then let back in after those threats came to light. Then was banned permanetly again. then allowed to return. So now he moved up to stalking minors... :crazy:

well he is gone again

It s not hard job for Alex to do. What Buck (even though i find him funnysometime) did was out of the line. It s mod s reponsiblity to ban any any members who cross the line or not abiding the rules. Easy and simple like that.

My question is IS Alex only one moderator in this messageboard?? Norm , most messageboards have more than 5 moderators.

not posting about that member. just in general

Getting lead on is another huge problem. Just look at whay goes on on myspace. Perents really have to watch their kids. there a so many sickos lurking online.

My wife and I attended a computer safety class at the local college. We are now friendly with the crissis center woman that teaches it. She asks often about the lastest trends that happen.
example: some friend requests that are emailed on myspace. well when you go to check out the person's profile. You are redirected to a porn site.
 
I always keep my eyes on and teach her how to avoid lurking or dangerous. She is 8 years old not easy for her to know how to use. She loves most of time on onlines: Disney, toon, games, and many. My responible to watch my daughter! My son, 14 years old, I still concern too.

Good to know we should keep Megan Law here! I might take them go to computer safety class.

Also wonder you said something about DM is closed for what?
 
The issue here is NOT about whether this girl was baiting or leading on ..the real issue is that we have a 43 year old man who should KNOW BETTER about his consquences.

You see a sexy woman walking down the street wearing tight short jeans and tank top. Does it mean she baited men to rape her? NO!

We all should be concerned about Buckie's lack of proper and healthy boundary lines. Clearly he knew yet he went ahead. Clearly he knew it was wrong legally but went ahead. It shows that lust overrules his mind.

Nothign will stop him except for being banned from AD to learn the consquences. Apparently he still hasnt and is going to another site to rant/rave about us here. But at least every one of us who spoke up can sleep well at nights!

Remember it takes a village to raise a child - we all are a family and should look out after each other, not shifting blame to that or who or what, etc. Period.

Thanks - I find it ironic that this should occur during Foley's scandal. Foley was never put in his place all these years. No one spoke up until now.

We cannot help Buckie with his problem but at least we can help others who need to be protected and know that there are many more who wont tolerate such actions here on AD and elsewhere. One small action lead to bigger changes.

I find it disgusting that people are trying to put this off on a 14 yr old girl. We should NOT be judging her for her actions. We should be judging Buckdodgers for HIS actions. He knew it was wrong to go after her. He knew it was illegal, but he chose to disregard the law.

It is my sincere hope that the 14 yr old girl gets the love and support she needs to get through this. It is also my sincere hope that Buck finally has to answer for his conduct. Furthermore, I also hope that whichever way this shakes out, he not be allowed back here ever again.
 
Wow...I didn't know what was going on but glad to see that he is banned due to the action he did which was WRONG. It is sickening! It look like he will never learn his lesson! jeez!
