I was watching the movie on Lifetim channel called "She's Too Young" and I couldn't believe it that teenagers like at the age of 14 years old or even pre teens are having sex with lots of partners most likely without condoms. It just made me angry because the school doesn't teach enough about sex education, birth control methods including condoms, and STDs (Sexually Tramissted Dieases) also the parents doesn't talk to their kids enough or don't even talk about all of this. I know that a lot of parents blame it on the media but I think that parents that SHOULD be responsible enough to talk to the kids about sex wheather they like it or not. It would be nice if the kids wait until they fall in love to have sex or until marriage but it doesn't always happen so that's why the parents needs to talk to the kids about protection and how to be so careful. Sex can be fun and pleasure but sex can also be dangerous because of HIV/AIDS and other dieases out there today.

Please discuss with us about this subject..thank you!

:)

I totally agree...I believe every teen should be able to take sex education and learn about the risks in sex and all...it doesnt matter if the parents doesnt say a thing about that but kids should learn more from school than what they hear from parents because parents are more embrassassed to talk about sex than teachers do.

Parents just don't know who they are really blaming at... but the sad truth is that, they are actually blaming themselves anyway

The problem here is, many schools make the policy to teach ONLY abstinence, nothing else which is pretty ridiculous to begin with.

Well, that's not gonna help. It's like a swiming pool. You can either teach your kid how to swim or teach him to stay away from water. Teaching him to stay away from water isn't going to help. Teach your kid about sex, how to use a condom, etc... better than teaching him not to do it at all. Your kid is liable to do it some day, no matter what.

I was watching that today too!! That was a very good movie and sad too...She was way too young to be having sex. and I agree the School and Parents are Responsible to teach young teens about sex protections and Disease... My parent never taught me about sex and that was something I would want to know I think it would make a big differences...It is very important to learn about sex before they actually do it ... to save their lives from getting disease and pregnant... I felt so bad for this girl Because she has no clue what she doing wrong the same time she needs help deep down in her heart and soul there is calling for help without even knowing it. that scary.... :(

Yeah abstinence only is pretty patently ridiculous. Options like condoms still should be taught also.....Teens sometimes can be pretty curious and will just be teenagers.

But dont get me started on the "A" word since it's too fuckin' hot to handle!

The Religious Right can kiss my ass on this subject and I aint backing off. But I promise you one thing: I will not be like the "Oh-I'm-too-nervous-to-talk-about-sex-to-my-kid-type-Daddy" in "American Pie"
