Has this been happening recently in college? When was the first time someone committed this crime in a college campus?

no you're right of course. It is all about perception when it comes to being in a field of work that has to do with sharing the spotlight in the public eye. Sad but true. But still its bullshit. Bitch stabbed her 23 times then showed no remorse in court like she knew what she'll get as far as sentencing goes. oh well, thats life i suppose.

I don't see what the point of executing her would be. She would just smirk at it and ask for it.

You lock up people like this for the rest of their lives.

I still maintain that killing someone spares them mercy from spending the rest of their lives in a box with no contact with the outside world.

depends. If its lethal injection then go ahead and lock her up. If its the chair then jolt the hell out of the bitch, why waste taxpayer money on that loony cunt anyway?
