I asked my hunnybunny for one thing only for Christmas and that's just one thing! A Boston Terrier puppy!! Know what he said? He said sure thing! I thought he was pulling my leg until he said he would get me one because I was so forlorn when my parents left with the Boston Terriers. I missed them so badly and they're cute lil' buggers. I can't wait to get my own Boston Terrier!! I'm thinking of naming her Jacey or Delia, those beautiful Southern names.

Looks perfect to have! :thumb: Did you get one already? Jacey and Delia are sure beautiful names.

When I went hiking in Millcreek Canyon to Mt. Grandeur, I saw two Boston Terriers on the hiking path with their masters, it was sooo cute. I never thought of them being hiking companions.

Dalmatians rocks......

Dalmatian_m717413.jpg

I do own a purebreed Dalmatian that I named Pongo after the 101 Dalmatians movie.

He is much a good dog with kids and hell, he even owns the front porch along with a battered old sofa for his bed ;)

I just bought Pongo a "Sun, Moon and Stars" collar to replace his old Aztec design collar last week....It does look good on him heh!

Aww hes cute! My hubby's best friend in Buffalo has a dalamation and he is very smart too! When i first met him, that dog came right up to me and just stared at me..i was kinda unerved and said "why is he staring at me?"...they didnt know for sure..well, when i sat down, he jumped up on the sofa besides me and just sniffed my ear for the longest time....my hubby and friend said..hey, i bet he knows you are deaf!...really strange!...but at least he was nice to me..LOL!

Nice...

Beautiful Dog Sablescort !

I have a real lame-brained dog, but he's still extremely friendly and a pretty darn good jumper. He's a pomeranian...I do have a photo that I'll post here if someone would resize it for me! He's a big dog for his breed...biggest Pom I've ever seen. Still small, of course.

He does get hyper at times...and he loves to wrestle with the cat. Some of you have seen Moxie on camera! Moxie of course, plays right along. He's been an influence on that cat, for sure. Now I have a cat that plays fetch with pairs of socks. ;)
Oh, how cute!

I grew up with cats, but I have two dogs now. The dogs are both Tebetian Terriers who are both quite different in temprament. The older dog, Schooner (age 7) is very independant and rather stand-offish. My other dog, Morgan (age 5), however, is rather clingy. I call him my "co-dependant dog", because, he's so needy. lol He's also the one I favor the most. Gee, I wonder what that says about ME? lol

If I ever get a dog (which won't be for a long time- $ and stuff) I probably will get a Lab or something. My mom and dad have had Lab dogs my whole life, and they're the best! Even if they're  when they're young, it's still worth it. I'll post a pic of my "baby", Cassie when I get the time! :D

I just thought I’d bump this thread and bring it up for some air. Here’s a breed that I think is perfect for a person who can’t have a big dog, but wants a dog who has a ‘big dog’ attitude. This is Lola, my friend’s purebred Lhasa Apso. I’m Lola’s godfather—if anything ever happens to her owner, I’ve agreed to take care of her for the rest of her life.

If I were to get a dog, it would be a female toy dog. Why? They are easier to train and more fun to play with. They are also cuter and easier to care for. Big dogs? Ugh! They're hell to deal with! One thing I can definitely say is... don't ever get two male dalmations at the same time! :nono:
:applause: Ditto! I rather have a toy dog (small dog) because they're easier to take care and of course, I can take her out with me as long as she knows her manners. LOL

Gewd gawd! No way!! Those little female toy dogs are little yappers that you can put in your purse and no need to bring a gun in your purse. Just have the damn dog yap away at the robber. Poor robber wouldn't know what bit him and the yapper would just have a free ride in the purse all day. Just take her out and she pees and shits, put her back in the purse. She walks you, you don't walk her. Gawd, it's a dog eat human world!

:laugh2: You're so hilarious and making me laugh! I would love that anyway! She'll walk me, yes, and that's good because I need the damn exercise!! In fact, I already have a dog, and she's a golden retriever. Right now, she's shaven because of the hot temperature and she smells! :ugh: Ugh! We definitely need to give her a bath or take her swimming at a lake or something!

Otherwise, she's a great family dog except she does not like my boys. Poor her.

I had a mixed lab and terrier. He was a very strong dog. I recommend a mixed lab and terrier.

We have 2 dogs, Beagle and Chihuahua.. they are wonderful dogs.

Next dog in future we would like to adopt is Weinmanner ( Grey colored Lab w/ green or blue eyes) You can see the famous photos of that breed in calendar at some bookstores.

I don't like dogs overmuch.

But if I have to choose I would pick a Great Dane or a tame Dingo :D

St Bernards is cute but all those drools ugh!
