But Im sure the President decides in the end what emails are declassified and which ones are kept private.
Obviously the ones that share national security are the ones that never get declassified, but Im sure the ones that share private family and personal information about the president are also kept confidential, especially his health records, to declassify them without written consent would be a violation of the HIPPA Act of 1996.
As the President, his health status is the matter of public record. HIPPA only applies to private citizens. That's why we know about McCain's health history and others.
