Interesting website. I just happened to look under "Fargo," as my favorite country singer's name is Donna Fargo. I didn't find her name, but Fargo was listed. We all know that "Fargo" is the second half of "Wells Fargo Bank." Interesting article on him and he was wealthy beyond belief!!

Thanks for sharing!

Well, Right now, you can find my own perspective on what the world would be like if the south had won the civil war. Look up the article "what about the south," or under the author name "dthmstr254". Evidently you can only search under the level you have attained, because I had one that made platinum that was written on the Vietnam War. The one war that taught us our troops are not invincible, yet also taught us about guerilla fighting.

Actually, I saw the movie, "Gods and Generals" about twice and, I think it was General Lee that died near the end. If he had not died, the south would have won. However, it is now the 21st century and time to move on.

Bush says give Iraq back to the Iraqis but then later say we will be there in Iraq for years to come....talk in circles!! So I think it will be a long drag out war...now civil war is happening in Iraq now and its even a bigger mess now. *sigh* I feel for our soldiers going there to face dangers in a country that is no threat to us in the first place.

Little history question/lesson. How long did it take America to inalize its new government, including the time spent fighting over the Articles of Confederation?

several years went by before we had a constitution. Iraq, they had one within a year and a half, two years. They have public schools that weren't there before we came. Thay have a judicial system that treats people like people instead of dogs. We are now more sure than ever that Iraq will not likely attack anyone. I don't care if Suddam didn't have the strength to attack someone, he had the moronic guts, and was unstable enough already to try it.
