Sunshine State (AUS) - Here I come!

In late July, I am intending to head to Queensland for a week long vacation, and visit an old friend of mine, which I have not seen for 5 years or more. going to catch up for Old time's sake! For these people who are curious what 'Sunshine State' is - I am going to Gold Coast!!!

(ppssst, I believe Ozzie is from the sunshine state, correct me if I'm wrong!)

yeah, waiting for my friend's reply to see if the dates are cool with them, then I can book the damn flight. Which forum are you PM'ing me, Ozzie?
 
Damn Jake, I thought you were coming to Florida! It is known as the 'Sunshine State' here in the US. LOL. I hope you enjoy your holiday with your mates, and pictures are MANDATORY!

The only time I went to California was for San Francisco and Los Angeles. It was a fun trip.

I went to Disneyland, Guinness Museum of World Records, and Universal Studios in Hollywood. :)
 
Wow, have fun!! I am jealousy lol... Gold Coast is so beautiful and it does look like Miami alittle, don't you think? ;)

No cash here either for big vacations. But I do think where you are going to visit looks really beautiful.
 
Its true, Sunshine State is Florida's nickname. At least you got us less confusion: Sunshine (AUS).. thats way much better..

Guess what? Dates has been confirmed with my friend who lives there, it's all good, flights has been booked, YAY! :dance:
 
Why is it called The Gold Coast? I don't see any gold there. :dunno: Well, have fun there, also! :)
