I read on the news today about Iraq more Car bombs are happening in Baghdad.. I thought once they have Saddam out, It should have gotten better, It's not. More violence has already raised. So, really to me Saddam isn't the problem. Those people already been briainwashed by Saddam, they hate American people they not going to forgive us ever Don't you realized that? IMO, We should have stay out of their business, but we went too far and nothing seem to change.

We should have forced on getting Bin out to begin with, (Which he is the one who gave a go ahead to bomb four major cities) But President Bush decide nah, We need Saddam.

Feedbacks are welcome.. (((((No off topic in this thread.)))))

Well, Bush massacred over 100,000 innocent civilians in Iraq with glee. I don't think they will ever forgive us (actually him). I guess Bush and our government never learn that violence begets violence. Also victims of violence exhibit more violent behavior toward others. That is well-known 'domino effect'. I don't remember who said that.. bring the peace to the country thru peace methods is only way to do that. War obviously is not part of peace methods.

I wouldn't be surprise if Jesus and God  at Bush and our government :P

Also I heard that USA stopped searching for Bin Laden, the one who caused 9/11 in America... Ironic, no?

Note: I inserted some dry humor and sarcasm in this post... so don't take my comments wrong, everyone.

Yea it sad and no wonder the price of oil and gas have gone sky high and no one can afford it. NOT ME!!!!!!!!

Actually its not the people of Iraq doing it, but those that hate democracy. The only reason I say that is because they are attacking Iraqi citizens themselves. If they were just attacking our forces, then I would say that is what happens during war and foreign soldiers are on your land. The problem is they are blowing up mosques and other holy places. They are killing their own citizens. They are blowing up their own pipelines that are bringing money into the country for the Iraqi people. The attacks earlier today were on election workers....Iraqi citizens who are working to bring a fair election to Iraq. Their goal is to scare the wits out of people so they don't vote.
It reminds me a lot of gang warfare but on a larger level. They are attacking their own people so they can remain in control of those very same people...Mini Saddams for lack of a better term.

To repeat: To make sure that everyone did not get the wrong idea. I inserted the dry humor and sarcasm in my post. So don't get my comments wrong.

Do you have any idea what does that mean? It means that there will be more money spending on Iraq, because they are blowing up buildings. Here goes America again down the drain.

Cheri,
I didn't mean it was a good thing that these things were happening. The other day I was able to travel to Camp Lejeune to pick up a good friend and his buddy who just came back from Iraq. You here these bad things on the news, but there are a lot of good things you don't hear. This is one of the reasons I react the way I do when posting here in regards to the war and my support of our military. I hear positive things, I see pictures that have hope for a bright future to the people of Iraq. This doesn't mean I enjoy war or the bad things that happen and I find it just as frustrating as you do.

It's never going to end. They're just too damn stubborn and loyal.

Although I don't believe we should be there, I do understand why we are. I come from a military family (grandpa in WW2 army, father and sister in USMC) and my brother in law is in Iraq right now with his fellow Marines. It's not the Iraqi people causing the problems and deaths, it is the terrorists. The Iraqi's, from everything I read or hear about them (don't watch news because of media bias) are happy that we are there to help them and have rid them of Saddam. My brother in law says Iraqi's come up to him and hug him and thank him for what he's doing for them. I think the American people need to stop listening to what media telling them and find out from those who are more involved in what's really going on.

Many people compare Iraq to Vietnam, but the only obvious similarity is the media bias. I will say that if I see an American spit on a returning soldier like they did to Vietnam vets, I would have at least some harsh words to say to them. Anyways, don't listen to what the media tells you, even if it is Fox news (I don't need to even mention the joke that is CNN). I suggest if you want to know, ask the people that are over there fighting for us and the freedom of others because they know firsthand. My sister just got out of the Marines over the summer and is having baby around New Years, and her husband is in Iraq now. She worries about him and their future daughter, but she also understands why he is there. I would also mention that the terrorists of Al Queda that Saddam was harboring, killed many more innocent people in that one day in Sept 2001, than the total number of soldiers that have died since the fighting started.
