Steak n Shake?

sablescort- I should try the one in Farragut sometimes whenever I am in town. My mom and her husband recently went to Lenoir City visiting their mothers, they decided to eat at Steak 'n Shake in Farragut and said the foods were OK. I didn't ask if the foods were any better than down here or Chattanooga.

OK Since I ate at both the Gunbarrel S n S and the Turkey Creek Parkside S n S I would say the Gunbarrel's food is pretty much decent than Parkside's.

I just picked up dinner from the TC-Parkside last night and the Frisco melt was so damn greasy enough!

I think it depends on whoever cooked the food at the location since most of the S n S's are open 24/7.

Interesting...have never heard of that restaurant...of course, I ain't in the States at this stage,

Thanks, I will try Farragut sometimes when I m in town. Yeah, at my regular Steak 'n Shake location, I usually try to see who is in the kitchen so I will know what and/not to order. :)

I m hellva in the mood to grab steak n shake but the nearest one is in Cleveland, OH which is like 3-4 hours away. GRR!! :fu2:

Surprised you asked about the Steak n Shake...
That's my very first job during high school I used to
work there in the back kitchen so i knew exactly
what their hamburgers look like before they were
cooked... they're actually 100% Real Beef !!!
I actually tried every food there.. Two things
i noticed that they no longer serve cheesecake
anymore and i'm surprised that Steak n Shake
seem to grew very slowly nothing like McDonalds...

They finally allowed me to try to work
in the front booth a bit I was hoping to
get promoted to a waitress job eventually... They were
going to let me try it, but I had to quit to
attend NTID oh well... i never had an opportunity
to be a waitress...

LOL! Brian..you gotta look in the kitchen before you order?? why?
I know a lady (my husband and i hate that bytch) would not go any restaurant if blacks are cooking!! she is that prejudiced! She would not eat
anything that black people cook! isnt that SICK!

I ate at Steak n Shake only one time. It was in Illinois (St. Louis area). My family stopped to eat there before heading on to Columbus, Ohio for my cousin's wedding.

Can't stand Stake N Shake!

One experience ruined any future visits. I received very poor service, took my time to write to the company, and never received a reply. Service was unacceptable. The food is not good enough and is too expensive for the type of service I received.

My thoughts...If they pay this little attention to the customer, how much attention do they pay to the food that they serve the customer?

We always stop in Indianapolis for Steak 'n' Shake. Love those huge milkshakes!

Interesting, I never have like this here in Germany and other Europe countries... :eek2:

I would try it when I'm in America...
