And If you make only $150,000 you pay only 35% to federal which leaves you only $95,000 and you dont pay No state taxes you still have plenty to spend so0 my augument is START MAKING THE WEALTHY PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE!
 
so if you make $1 million a year that means u're paying nearly $550,000 makes u left over of $450,000 is this fair? my point is.. that the wealth work HARD work their ass hard to earn that money.. and its not easy!

let the wealth deserve what they earn.. and i believe in flat rates... poor and rich both pay the same amout of tax

and believe it or not.. if you're making $30,000 a year.. your chance is getting a refund from taxes.. so therefore be happy!

also keep in mind.. if we have a flat rate.. the rich is easier to buy a FANCY house.. which means property taxes for them is high.. and they're paying high property tax because they have a fancy house.. that taxes is EXCELLENT for schools, etc...

if there's new tax law state needs pay 20% theres chance that the wealth won't buy a fancy house because of its high tax.. meaning property tax won't be high.. meaning lousy school system, etc.. get the idea?
 
Hey,, The Create private school. Public education DOES NOT WORK! And Kids are failing because the teachers are not quilfied to became teachers.Plus Teachers are unionized. Besides WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR SCHOOLS? I DONT EVEN HAVE KIDS!! So Private Education makes the parents pay for their kids attend school. NOT THE TAXPAYERS!
 
REMINDER!!! I think RS don't understand this. BUT AGAIN reminder!!!! Remember back in 1992 when congress passed national luxury sales tax. Know what had happened to it? Gov't lost three times more money than they had before they enact so called stupid sales taxes. It was repeled after 6 months because of the results that was very undesired and unpleasant for everybody INCLUDING poor people!!!

Once your wealthy, you WILL understand more. I am sorry, I understood better than you because I have some friends who is millionaire. They told me and I realize they are NOT dumb! You mess with them, then they will NICELY mess back to you!

Sure some states don't have income taxes, but they have high property taxes, or other high taxes. Can you see where the business goes? Often business avoid high property taxes, so those people living in no income taxes state don't have good jobs like we have. That is because rich people hate pay taxes and avoid paying any higher taxes in these states.

The more we tax to rich people, then rich people would move their business overseas, who wins?

Ravensteve, you've been yapping about that for ages and ages. He raised those taxes to get money out of a larger segment of the population....
Reba, that's easy.....I'm not against enjoying the fruits of hard work, but when I (and many other people) are struggling to find the funds to pay for hearing aids or other basic costs of living.....why should someone be lording it over me? And very often those fruits of hard work consisted of laying off or denying benifits to the very people who are just struggling to get by!
 
Many of the companies are outsourcing the jobs because they simply don't want to spend too much on the wages in the US are high, the corporates want MORE greed by outsourcing the jobs overseas with cheap labor so corporates can make a big profit.

Washington state has no state income tax, and Microsoft is still adding jobs here, and many overseas, also. It does not make much difference. Most companies love the republicans because they get the freebies (tons of tax written off) which means they don't pay any taxes. Please no more adding any more excuses or I will go to ZZZ land. :)

So why are you ranting and raving about the quality of public education then? Not everyone can afford private schools....the reason private schools are so good is b/c they can pick and choose who goes there! Kids are failing b/c a lot of them come from families that don't give a shit about education....they are from "Umm who's president Bush" type familes! Sure some teachers are bad....but not all of them!

It seems to me that Ravensteve refuses to admit that he would not want to fork over the money, if he had been earning over 200,000 dollars a year. He probably lives under the proverty level in some trailer somewhere, jealous after the rich masses and saying all this rambling cos he wants some of that "share the wealth" money himself but probably will never live to see it anyway.

How do you know that public schools do not work? What's the point of not having children and should not be paying taxes on public schools, Guess what hun, We all pay taxes, We do not have a choice. We pay taxes on everything. I don't even mind paying taxes on education, regardless of whether I have children or not. Education is important in every child.

Do you have any idea how much private school charge? Public schools are free, even through parents have to pay school fees for books and etc. But paying taxes on public schools are general population, I'm sure every child is thanking you for your tax fund. :thumb:

That's right, especially when it involves taxes. I hate to say it, but the Libertarians who support the Fair Tax seem to have the best plan. It is even better than the Flat Tax.

Last year, I paid almost $600 per month for my two grandsons' tuition. Books, registration fees, music lessons, soccer team, and supplies were extra.

I just think the wealthy should pay more than their fair share. The middle class people are the ones that move the economy.Wealthy people use their money for business and luxery items.Let me ask yall this.Since when I.R.S Agents ever audit a billionare? The more you keep putting taxes on little people youre forcing them not to pay their bills and banks calling repo men steal their cars and boats. And I.R.S Agents take little guys homes. Thats why less taxes on the little people and you wont have repo men or I.R.S Agents repossesion their homes. So answer my question since when I.R.S Agents ever audit a billionare or repo men steals the billonares rolls royce?

Wow! That's was sweet of you to pay their private schooling. But, That's way too much for me to afford. :giggle: There is always extra expectly in public schools too.
