Smoking ban from Bars and Resturants in World and USA

yeah me too. But my sister in the law is smoker in her apt. I have to be patient. I can't be rude. When i left her apt and go home and take a shower. I love to take a shower after smell smoking stick on my hair and clothes. I put my favorite "Body and Bath shop" lotion on my body. It's smell so good! I am not allow anyone light up a smoking in my house! I told them go outside and smoking it. I don't like to pick the cig butts. I told them to use a old coffee tin for ashtray. I am not allow anyone to throw a butt on grass. It can cause fire easily.
 
In Victoria they also want to start a legislation to ban people from smoking in cars if they are carrying children under 16.

well i undy how they feel about banned.. i undy how they feel about " have to" go outside and do smoke..

well.. it all about health.. and clean and smell better.. and breath better..
people ask gov to banned it.. but other way.. i know.. it hurts busniess. ... there is nothing i can do..

as for me, it good beacuse it cleaned and smell better for me.. i dont like smoke around me! when it smoked.. while i dont smoke ( i am not smoker), then go home and take off my cloth.. i smelled my cloth!!!!!!! yikes! yuck! it smell horriable!

Yeah true. I can get headache for max for 2wks.
 
I gotta agree with Deadmoney on that one...I do not like smoking but bars are famous for their smoke-filled establishments. People who cant stand the smell of smoke should NOT go to bars. I cant stand it but I have always known and accepted that bars will be full of smokers and I made the decision to enter a smoke-filled environment. Was my choice so I dont have the right to be a hypocrate and complain about it. Just come home and take a nice long soapy shower and all is well. :)

Banning smoking from bars is kinda stretching it a bit...might as well make it illegal and create more crime on our streets. No thank u.

in this state.. california most bans smoking in bars and resturants but in illinois where I was born almost everywhere I go can smoke in resturants even bars too.. I don't know why but now new law sucks that i can't smoke at bus stops but I smoke anyways cops haven't stopped me yet.. ;) blah at laws I knwo those days had gotten worse... oh well I managed to do well :)
 
I'm not a smoker. In fact, being a Health teacher, I'm against smoking. However, I must agree with Dead Money on this issue. Banning smoking from bars? That's about as bad as banning popcorn from movie theaters because its always littered on the floor. Stupid.

Smoking ban in IL is so tough but ban smoking at bar seems so ridiculously.

I don't have any health issue that related to secondhand smoking, I'm not worried about it.
 
The fact of the matter is, smoking is a legal activity and smokers are the most heavily taxed population in the U.S. The government collects billions from taxes on cigarrettes every year. So how can the government tell a private business owner that they cannot allow a legal activity that indeed supports the government through tax revenue in their establishment? It is a blatant violation of civil rights.
