Yes i watched it. You get into somebodys car and they pick people up in order to drive in the H.O.V lane. Thats a loophole how to beat the liberals laws.

Nothing wrong with that. It s perfectly acceptable. I'd rather have sluggers than seeing 100 cars with just 1 driver in each car on a freeway on a morning. In addition, it helps reduce pollution so it is a great benefit.
 
Again, your are not making any sense. How does this violate any laws and loopholes? The "slugs" is looking for a ride to their destinations. This is what is normally called "ride share".
 
But Heres the thing,Liberals dont get any taxes out of it.Plus its free cause someone else is spliting the bill.

What? So if I have a 3 other friends or co-workers and we car pool to the office. How does that make any difference than picking up 3 people you don't know?

Why do you even care?

For every car that fills up with people, there are less cars on the road. Thus less damage to the roads and less pollution too. We pay taxes to repair the roads and reduce pollution too.

People take buses and ride bikes too to work so what is your point here? It is not just to beat the rising cost of gas but its a lifestyle for many people who feel strongly about environment to find alternative ways to get to work, etc.
 
Same old RS! Starting really pointless topics and discussion. The law simple said there must be at least 2 or 3 people in vehicle to go though HOV lanes. The purpose of HOV is to reduce the congestion on the highway. It worked most of the time. The only thing I object is that some people do bring dummies and fool others! Yes many of them got caught!
Anyway, at this time where I live, there is no such HOV lane here!!! Thank god! I rarely see traffic congestions around my town! The only time there was congestion is change of construction on road or severe accidents. But other than that, it is NOTHING!

Mind tell me what does HOV stands for? :confused:

What do you mean about people bring dummies and fool others? Are you saying people put dummies in their car to look like they have fake friends in their car? just to make sure what you mean by that. :)

High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Lanes. Some people put acutal dummies you see in stores and put them in the cars to try to fool the police.
 
Actuly a guy took the cop to court after he wrote a citation the guy was riding with his dog in an H.O.V lane. It says 2 or 3 passengers And hwe argued with the court a dog is consider a passenger. The judge didnt agree so he doubled his fine.Plus the guy ran to the ACLU to take the cop to court again but the ACLU wouldnt take his case,,But If THAT WAS A BLACK WOMAN with her dog or cat sure the ACLU would take her case just like the ACLU took the womans case because she was fired because her boss told her to wear a dress to work.And Mel Feit read the papers and he decided to wear a dress to work and a female supervisor fired him because of innapropreate dress code.The ACLU doesnt protect equal rights that only protect women and minorites.
Thats another reason i dont like cops.They cant be reasonable.

there's no way u can stop the cost of gas.. this is an ideal idea of saving time and money. government don't care if you share rides with others. i've seen millions of people around are finding ways to do anything to go on a diamond road. i've seen some people use a blow-up doll.. yes it works, however if u're caught by this its a felony.

Anyway government don't care cuz it reduce the pollution, reduce the road repairs, reduce the accidents, reduce the traffic, and of course reduce the gas usage.

here in minnesota they have a new program just setted up... called MNpass.. this is for people who wants to go on diamond but isn't a motorcycle, bus or carpooling but instead they have to pay up to $8 to go on this lane (price are depending on how bad the traffic is) is allowed to go on diamond road. we call it Black diamond here in minn :D

i watch the news about highest gas prices and more affords!

my mother going gas and my mom got shock more over 20.00 and 30.00 but its hard to afford! and also my grandma also!

and sams club also high prices also! but i cant believe in my hometown more prices than nope!

Scuba this is one reason why minnesota is an idiot state. They voted for an ex pro wrestler for governor and now theyre charging people to drive on a highway like they do in england?One reason why minnesota is like a commie state just like california and masseschutes is.
 
If I were the Judge, I would triple the fine for having frivilous cases. There is NO excuses for frivilous case to be created. It just waste my time and resources for other far more serious case. Today court cases is now backlogged at least 6 months! More than half of them are just hogwash! Sorry, case dismissed, next is murder case, please!

I don't know about y'all but HOV sounds like a liberal concept to me. Only the liberals will come up with the idea of sharing cars and saving the environment. Republicans would rather to ride alone in their gas guzzling cars. Raven, I need some links to prove that HOV is not an idea of the liberals. What ya doing right now seems to me that you are criticising the liberals but encouraging people to use what the Liberals invented? Makes no sense.

I'm a conservative but I see benifits for HOV. I've used it before and sure beat the hell out of sitting in traffic.
