Frankly, I cannot understand why someone would think that, this is getting ridiculous. :roll:

What's ridiculous is the fact that the RNC spends $150K on Palin's wardrobe instead of other things -- such as helping McCain win the election. :D

I disagree; I think it was a good investment and will end up as a charity donation. 150K does not go far in this kind of activity; it does not put a dent in their coffers.

Her son is only 5 months old, and for the last month she has been trying to learn American Government. I doubt she has taken time to learn ASL in the process.

I wonder what kind of comments would be expressed if the DNC spent this kind of money on a wardrobe for their VP candidate? Remember all the fuss about Edwards' and his $400 haircut? At least that was paid for with money out of his own pocket.

$150K is a considerable amount of money when you think about all of the middle class Americans who are struggling with their finances, struggling to put food on the table and struggling to find/keep jobs. Just think about how that money could be better spent.

We could probably say that about all the campaign expenses--private jets, motorcades, TV and radio ads, etc. :P

He is not but in some cases, parents and educators use ASL to communicate with hearing children who have congnitive disabilities. I have seen it in many special ed programs for hearing kids when I work at public schools during the summer. It works. :)
