I don't think it is fair for you two speak Russian when not all of us know Russia language therefore respect others use english if you kindly can, If not then go ahead be rude. :sadwave:

Cheri, we do not speak Russian, nor were we trying to be rude. We were playing a learning game using computer programs. But, if you, Alex, or others are offended because Steve and I were having fun and you felt excluded, we will not continue using the translator program. BTW, if anyone wants a link to the translator program, I'll give it to them. :cheers:

Oh having fun for you two? Why not go in pm or on aims. But here in Alldeaf people are going to flip on this page and see Russia language and think to themselves "What the heck are they saying?" :mrgreen:

Well, the translations WERE provided here, and I did sincerely apologize, as well as state that we would quit. And offered you a learning key if you chose to go back and translate anything for yourself. What more do you want Cheri? What? :dunno:

And yeah, Codger and Raven, I would love to have a translator program here, since I recently restored my computer, erasing all files etc. If you got a good one, then by all means post it here! Thanks!

It will do quite a few languages, but not vietnamese. I just use it online instead of downloading it. There are a lot of translator programs you can download, but I think most of them cost and this one is free.

Well, retranslate the russian to English and see what you get. You'll see what I mean. A lot of stuff is hard to translate word for word from one language to another. That is one of the things that Steve and I were discovering. And you don't EVEN want to try that with Vietnamese, take my word for it!

Funny you should mention that.

I was in high school during the Cold War. I was very interested in the Soviet Union. I entered a research essay contest sponsored by Soviet Life magazine and won a free subscription. I bought a Russian language LP record and used to practice Russian phrases.

Yes I just found that out, How come they don't translate the correct word by word?
