I am just curious, which one of you rent the movie from what store?

Me, I rent netflix.

We rent online BlockBuster and we also get 2 or 3 free coupons online and can get free movies at the store. Good deal for us. ;)

I rent movies from Hollywood video, because I don't rent many movies, I rent average of 1 to 2 a month will not break even with the offer of netflix. If my budget gets a little better with more disposable income, I would go for netflix or blockbuster...they both do the same thing. ;)

I don't rent movies anymore. I just don't have time to watch them.

stick w/Blockbuster.. reasonable prices rental movies and also no late fee... *yahoooo*

would still get a late fee if you don't bring it back on the date that they expect you to return.

they only said no more late fees when you have to return it before noon but now it's changed...they just expect you to return the movie at anytime, but must be returned on the exact date as it says on the receipt.

There isn't much good movie to watch this year...

And I think Netflix and Blockbuster online are a rip off...
because yeah it is a good deal and cheap to
pay $9.99 to $19.99 a month and can rent as many movies
you want and no late fee...

But I get scare if movie gets lost in the mail, somebody
might steal them and I might have to pay a lot of money for that.
They don't care who steal the movie in the mail, it is my responsibility.

And when I rent many many many movies in a month...
Most of the movies I rent are stupid or boring movies...
I'll be waiting for the movie I really want to see to
come out..... but while I wait, I have to rent old or stupid movies...

So I cancelled Netflix and Blockbuster online, and just
go to Blockbuster store or go to theatre... 3 times a year.

From what I know, they give you a month and if you don't return it by the end of the loan period... you buy the movie.

If your movie gets lost in the mail, just tell them and they won't charge you.

Actually, they don't charge you ANY late fees. They charge you for the movie if the movie isn't returned 1 week after the due date. If you return it after they charge you for the movie, then they will charge you a reprocessing fee for putting the movie back into inventory. The processessing fee is less than the late fees. In a way, red-cover movies are 9-day rentals and blue-cover movies are 14-day rentals. ;)

Miss P., investigate what?

they said they will investigate the post office and ask
if the post officers sent the movies directly to my house.

Naww.. Miss P <--- making this up!.. just like what she have said in other threads on any other items.. eh

blame and blame.. on companies just like Ravensteve. Oh maybe it was ravensteve on her computer...

( :giggle: )

netflix ain't gonna keep sending me movies if one of their movies lost
in the mail after I report a movie missing.

the world ain't free.

I used to get movies from BlockBuster and then return them back....but the majority of the time, I use Captioned Media Program (here's the link online: http://www.cfv.org)...the best part of this free-loan program for those who are deaf and hard-of-hearing is that you don't have to pay postage (they pay it for you and have the postage sticker on the tape's case) to mail them back by a certain date. :)
