No, it wasn't too much to make. It was just hard to make as it was their first vehicle to make and they had just gotten started. The factory was shut down due to trial. The trial went on too long that even when they were found not guilty, the damage was done and they couldn't re-open. Over 30 were made before the factory was shut down. Some workers helped build the remaining cars bringing the total to 50 by the time the trial was over.Hmm, you gave me a new movie that I would have to watch. I'm always into car movies. I have heard of Tucker. I imagine that it was too much to make and lacked in sales.

The same thing happened with the DeLorean (the time traveling car from Back to the Future). He was arrested on drug trafficking charges and found not guilty due to entrapment. Because of this trial, the company went bankrupt.
