Puyo's Nipo had the babies!

When I got back from the vacation, I realized that my guinea pig, Nipo is pregnanted last Friday. I think it's because she was in the cage with male guinea pigs at the pet store, and was already pregnanted before I bought her. Here is the picture of Nipo when she was pregnanted.

You can see the fat on both side of her stomach so obsiviously she's pregnanted! Yeah I was shocked.

Yesterday at 2 in the morning, her babies had born!! Two female guinea pigs, I kept watching them and won't stop watching, it's very interesting! Within one hour after the birth, those babies just act like adult, eating carrots, with eyes open already!

I named them, Chobo (that guinea pig with blossom all over her body, which are breed as Alyssbian), and Browi (the one with white crest on head which are American Crested breed). I am going to keep them! Those are my first time to see the newborn guinea pigs.

I thought they are tiny cute babies but... now, they seems so BIG! O_o?

They sure grew up so fast.

Haha! Nope they did not grow anything, they are just 3 inches long while mother is about 7 inches long. Same with my brother, my brother thought Chobo and Browi was too big, but it's their normal babies size. ;)

Aww, soo cute !! Are you goin' to put some bows on their heads ? LOL
 
Oh they are so cute! Do you have to do anything special to take care of them or does the mother do it all?
 
Sorry, I can't see those pictures at my office computer. I have to wait until I'm home from work then I will see those picture from my home computer abd will let you know.

All what I want to say is CONGRATULATION to be Granddad to furkids... :thumb:

Thanks! :) Nope, I don't need to do anything, the mother do it all or probably the mother only wash them at the birth and breastfeed them then that's it. They already act like adult, they walk and run very fast, eat much as adult eats.
