Do you allow member steal your quote or message copy and drag drop to outside forum?

One of members steal your comment everything any kinds threads...
Do you willing let them steal yours and bring drag and drop (copy and paste) to OUTSIDE FORUM?

Let me get this straight, You mean if someone take my opinion and drag it to another forum as their own opinion or to rant about my opinion?
 
I haven't voted yet because I'm not sure that I understand the question.

Do you mean that people are using someone else's posts but claiming them as their own words?

If someone used my posts but used proper attribution I wouldn't mind. If someone used my posts, word-for-word, and claimed that another person wrote them, I wouldn't like that.

It would probably be considerate to request permission before using someone's posts in another forum. Sometimes the posts here are direct responses to other posts, and if taken out of context could have entirely different meanings.
 
I rather respect their comment. if want to steal then ask for perissom (spelling) if it is ok or not.

I hate if someone steal my artwork eheh :giggle:
 
Depending! I'd rather somebody ask me permission first or let me know.

I won't like it when they steal my comment and use my words that aren't theirs. I don't mind if they ask me nicely for permission, even I say no.
 
This is tough, I rather someone to ask me for my permission FIRST so I'm aware that my post is being quote somewhere else and sometimes I see members attacking my view even I'm not a member of that forum, and I find it not so nice at all, even they do not know me or anyone who may say something on how they feel etc...


I remember when one of my post was copied and pasted into another forum, I see some members called me names and insult me from right to left even they do not see how it started or why I made that post in the first place and that's immature on their part for doing that just to get people at their side and make Alldeaf look bad, that's almost like a troublemaker trying to stir up more dramas out of it....

Reba.. Okay.. For example.. "quote" I copied your quote bring to outside another forum... tell them about you....

How do you feel ?
Is that okay for you let person copy your quote naming already there!

Any kinds thread.... Rant/Venting or General any things.. doesn't matter..

Do you accept it?
 
I´m agree with anyone here that it´s nicer of anyone to ask us for permission before paste our posts to add any forums.

I would consider it as immaturity if anyone pasted our posts to add other forums without our permission.

Reba, no, not quite cuz I know from whence this poll was created. A fer instance would be: Someone copies and pastes something you said to another forum and agrees/disagrees/bashes/praises you for your opinion. Simple as that.

Personally, I don't care if someone does that to me or anyone(MUST USE DIRECT QUOTE) because that kind of activity can teach us to be careful what we say.....it can be a learning, growing process if done correctly.......or not. By the way, is there an AD rule about this? If not, talk to Alex or let the membership here decide.

The reason why Alex making sure other Deaf forum and other non-members names are censored, It's all about respect and keeping AllDeaf's problems in the forum, and other Deaf forums' problems kept in their own forums. It's Alex way of making sure people deal with the problems outside of Alldeaf than to spread it to HIS forum which would grow to a problem that will not get solved but to created more drama and unwanted attention and from the looks of what other forums has done to Alldeaf, they allow it to happen because they're soo darn immature to handle the problems outside of the forum, but wants to get others on their side, that's what its all about.....


It's all about " Oh pity me party! " :crazy:
