Do you allow member steal your quote or message copy and drag drop to outside forum?

I wouldn't mind if something I said here was quoted in another forum. I do, post here knowing that it will be read by anyone who browses these boards...it wouldn't make any difference to me if they read it here or elsewhere...I still said it, so I wouldn't really mind if someone brought it to the attention of others...after all, anyone who is reading AD can link a perfect stranger to any one of my posts...

HOWEVER...

....I do think it's common courtesy to ASK permission first - and I don't believe the quote should be used in order to "pick" on anyone. If I were to quote someone from a different forum, I'd approach the poster and ask if it were all right I do so...if not, there's always the linking approach?

Forums aren't exactly private anyway.

What do you mean be more selective in where anyone posts? Discussion were made here in this forum not another forum. What is the major reason of dragging members posts and posted it in another forum. Since I find that you seem okay with it or seems like you have done it before and it doesn't bother you?
 
Personally I prefer anyone who ask you permission to have your quote bring to another outside forum... Important "Respect each together as cool it"

Than dark secret and took your quote to outside forum..
until someone found out that would be crash their feeling moral and thought you're cool but NOT..

Personally, I don't care. I can back up what I say and I stand by everything I've said on here and elsewhere.

You all have to remember one thing... This NOT the real world. Forums merely offer a place for people to come together to share ideas. Some of those ideas will be offensive, and, some ideas can come back to bite you on the hiney. If you don't want to have to explain yourself later on, simply don't say it ANYWHERE except in private, and be careful who you share your opinions with.
 
I don't trust a certain member from this AD. That certain member is pretty immature enough to do that by quotin' someone else's post to another forum without a permission. It twists the point of view from certain point of view by someone else, not certain member who copies and pastes someone else's quote. I find this pretty disgustin'... that's what all the dramas will come out from too many misunderstandings and rumors. :roll: That's pretty crass thing to do.
 
hell no! i dont like it.. need private in only AD! if copy this and to other forum it IS IMMATURE, GOSSIP, BACKSTAB and GROW UP! trust me.. i dont like it..
 
It isn't polite, but I recognize this as a public place. I don't say anything here that I wouldn't shout from a rooftop (so to speak).
 
Sure all forums are open to the public everyone can view threads and posts that made on the forum but is it necessary to copy some one's post and posted it in another forums just to sir up trouble? Why can't they disagree at the same forum that they made that post at? That's what I don't understand why is it so important that they had to drag members posts to another forums? To be honest members, there are members here who are two-face and backstabbers. What had happened to me before can happen to anyone. I hope Alex does change something here, because I feel that some members here love to bash at members that they personally don't like and drag their posts in another forums to get others on their side. I've seen it happened so many times and it's so kindergarden.

Unfortunlately I has to agree with you. I have seen many times before... I has no respect for that. *shake my head*

If anyone who pasted any forums is childish and immaturity.
 
No i don't accpet whoever try steal quote it's bad idea *smh* bec it's try make you look bad :nono: in way
