lol yea. Chevrolet Volt is an electric car.
Chevy still use gasoline engine. I played it around from my old job in 2 years ago.
Hybrid mean 10-15 Mph from batteries and 15mph or up use gasolone power. HV batteries got recharger from gasoline power when 20MPH or up.
Chevy Volt use HV batteries at any speed till battery low to 25% then switch to gasoline power and recharger HV batteries till fuel went low then stop and refill up the gas then switch to HV batteries when fuel get full tank.
The Chevrolet Volt is plug-in hybrid electric car. Right?
These are sold over here as the Holden Volt. They haven't been huge sellers though on account of being hugely expensive - in fact I don't think I've ever seen one on the roads here.
We're still rather backward over here in Western Australia though.... I guess you'd see plenty over in Melbourne or Sydney as Taxicabs.
:jaw:around $60,000 Chevy
This is Australia. Expensive country.:jaw:
Chevrolet Volt costs $39,000 current price.
GM CEO said Chevrolet Volt price will drop by $7,000 to $10,000 for next gen.
