Picture of your pets

mizwytch, I'll look for them-

souggy, great photos! neat pups! yours? Botti, I was wondering the same thing-

Coyote-dachshund cross.

Kidding. Vallhunds. There's some debate if Pembroke corgis or vallhunds came first; the theory is those two dogs are related: if the vikings brought them to Wales, or if the vikings brought them back to Sweden. I wanted a Premmie, but the vallhund breeder is the only corgi/vallhund breeder I met so far that didn't treat me like a retard. Not a deaf thing, it's an elitist "I know everything about these dogs" attitude.

Cardigan corgis are more closely related to scent hounds and terriers than they are to the spitz-type Pembroke and vallhunds. Yay for convergent evo... Er... Breeding!

Interesting story. I know next to nothing about Vallhunds.

Yes, I pointed out which one is mine in pictures where there are more than one puppy.

Will be picking him up at the airport.

aah! I wondered if they were Valhunds or Buhunds - very rare breeds in this country and I've heard of them but not seen any locally.
Intriguing dogs:)

Breeder called him Stanley.

Thinking... Riley.

Do Deaf people usually give sign names to their dogs? Nevermind, will ask someone else tonight.

The one with the tail.

Nice looking dogs ! How many do you have! did you just get all that snow this year!?

Is there a price difference between the ones with tails and the tailless?

Just one: Riley. The pictures were take at the breeder's ranch in Ontario.

Is there a price difference between the ones with tails and the tailless?

Nope!

Don't know, but I'm betting there's a pain difference between the ones with tails and the ones tailless.

All natural. It's genetic.

No, he specified it is natural, no docking.

Right. In Europe, they banned cropping and docking; traditionally, boxers are docked, so what some breeders was breed Pembroke corgis with boxers, selected the puppies born with no tails or snubs, and bred those ones back to boxers to get a natural tailless boxer without the use of docking.

I am not sure if those undocked tailless boxers exist in North America.
