Pick em up truck

CDL is across the board, read in there as well,
YOU CAN NOT HOLD MORE THAN ONE LICENSE!!!! So, your uncle holding an operators with a motorcycle and a CDL is already breaking the law, they just havent caught it yet.
No wonder there are so many accidents.

and I can explain not being caught yet, when I sold my 4x4 and transfered my plated to my PT, it took them 6 months until they caught their mistake of transfering a truck plate to a vehicle, had to turn it in to get regular plates.

But you will argue that as well, because you dont want to read, Jiro already posted proof of the others as well as I and you still dont agree,,,just pure ignorance. We posted what pops up from google, but if you put in your state, it will show the same info in their formats. Hell just call and ask...its faster and simpler for you if you are too lazy to google it. When you take the written, please let us know how many times you take it to pass ( you can take it once a day ) Id really love to know since you say you have the book and hope you are studying it.

oh well. there's no helping then. if highlander wants to be like that, then let him be. *shrug*

Are you blind or read too FAST?
I tried to ask you and you still ignored me and you blamed me for ignored. Looks who talks?

I re-read like 2 times to make sure and they were for other status, I don't think it's across the board. I already checked my DMV and it's don't said anything about motorcycle and CDL too.

You just posted all links for state ONLY which I don't care. Another links for farm only which I don't care.

Are you hearing or HOH?

Can you explain why few of jobs won't let anyone and me to drive on the semi-truck without a LOAD on the public. Only allows CDL without LOAD and with LOAD.

I remember at college and my old teacher asked student if they have CDL or not. Some students already have CDL then he let them with CDL to drive college's semi-truck to relocation without a LOAD.

I already explained everything after you and Jiro posted then you called me pure ignorance. Geez.

very very very simple - ASK YOUR DMV!

Now listen, Jerk!
Me being hoh or deaf is irrelivent...so you know where thats gonna get ya.
Now with the college that was their rules or regulations for having someone with a CDL ( insurance pourposes ) so as your damn college why!
and feeling sorry for ya, really.

I was not asking you. Jerk.

in case you haven't noticed - we are not interested in helping you anymore because you're acting like a childish jerk. you've ignored all of our posts and you want to argue with us.

very simple - ASK YOUR DMV. not your DMV book... CALL DMV. GO TO DMV and ASK. Contact your State Police Department because they're responsible for enforcing commercial vehicle laws. We do not live in your state so why ask us?

Why so angry? Jiro is your boyfriend or what?

irrelivent? Then you are ignorance.

You still don't understand why I asked? Yes, HOH or Deaf does matter for CDL because of physical exam. That's mean I can't pass whisper exam which I CAN'T hear it. So DOT will send me the letter then bring it to DMV for waive whisper exam. In fact, I already spoke to DMV about that from last year.

Not just college. It's jobs too. Just give me the direct answer.

Wake up.

My god highlander got something right... but then again, like I said, I no longer have a cdl as I let it go. Yes my hearing would prevent getting it again, but then again there are ways around it. If I dont need it why keep it for higher fines, more money for renewals and all thats involved. Tell me, do you know how to get around the hearing issue to land a CDL... yeah its illegal but has to be proven and I wont give you that info. It doesnt involve a wavier either, just to give you a hint. I dont need to worry with it anymore, since youre not in OUR states, it is YOUR state and Your rules only apply. Happy hunting. Forget DMV, talk to your highway patrol, they know more than the DMV anyways.

PS... do you know any deaf drivers (OTR) I do.

Yes, I heard about cheat written and physical exam for CDL before. I am not interesting for illegal info due high risk for lost job, big fined and jail. No thanks. I prefer keeps simple and clean.

I want to get my CDL. Anyone local to me that would let me borrow their big rig for the exam?

I've been looking around on Craigslist at trucks trying to find something decent to get and use as a work truck ... 99% are either junk, have 200,000 - 300,000 miles, had "new" engines or transmissions put in that have come out of a wrecked truck and not new or rebuilt ... have been modified beyond recognition ... or the seller is wanting an arm and a leg for a "vintage" auto ... your lucky you found that truck with low miles at a good price ... I'd rather have a unmolested original truck over anything else and its almost impossible to find.

My truck KBB at $3700, was wrecked but only cosmetics. I paid $900 but license office made me pay taxes on the full amount (azzz hats) unless I had a bill of sale (should have just left, written one and went back...stupid places ripping people off now to generate revenue) I couldnt get a bill of sale as the gentleman died.

as far as getting a truck for the test, some highway patrol test stations have them, other times you have to rent a truck and have someone with a cdl to take it there for you.

Something that may be worth checking into ... I don't know how it works for a CDL or your state ... but in NC I took the MSF BRC at the college and after passing that they give me a card to take to the DMV and they waived the motorcycle road test ... the college here offers a truck driving course too maybe after completing that the DMV may waive the CDL road test too??? :hmm:

EDIT: The local college here does have a fleet of their own semi trucks and trailers for the course too.

Not with tractor trailers, no. You have to take the driving test. they have to know you can back one up to the dock.

Was worth a shot. Only thing I've ever had to do was be certified as an emergency vehicle driver through the NC Dept of Insurance and Stare Fire Marshals office.
