If people still want the propane so bad, USA actually has the largest oil in the world in forms of tar sands. I am trying my best to remember from my geology class-- tar sands are some formations in lithosphere that traps petroleum and propane from the magma to surface.
We haven't tapped it (they are mostly in Wyoming and Utah) because the government doesn't want to start to kill off the national parks (and encounter public outcry) and buy *expensive equipments* to use for underground oil mining...
BUt if you need to be assured-- we do have a lot of oil under us to last us hundreds of years... INDEPENDENTLY... we don't have to use other countries' oil... with no landscape in Utah and Wyoming so that is your dilemma.

An Ugly America, but MORE GAS for everybody! Let's guzzle the gas in our off-road SUV and pave those redwood down!

Space travel wont be affected because the latest space engines dont use petroleum based fuels with the exception of Spaceshipone which uses an engine consisting of a rubber tube and laughing gas.

So the Jetsons lifestyle will be comming soon.

how can it be bush? i believe its not bush alone.. i beleive its the enviromentalism who raise cost.. to try to reduce people using too much gas. (to keep oil last longer)
 
Check out www.hubbertpeak.com and you'll see we have 50 years worth of oil left, 300 years of coal left.

By that time, I believe we'll have something else besides gas. It's about time they come up with something that does not damage the environment. I saw on tv once about a car that in the back, you can use your own cooking oil to start your car because vegetable oil is not that harmful to the environment.

oh puh-leeze :roll: that is entirely untrue and you know it. These environmentalists are trying to save the enivornments from these pollutions and many retarded people. Unlikely certain party, environmentalists actually do care about environments. Place your blame on something or someone else.


You can delay all you want but oil problem will come up eventually. There are plenty water-based engine, vegetable oil-based engine, etc inventions around at different universities & labs. It is oil companies & retarded government's fault for not allow these engines into the market. Books, magazines and journals mentioned about these time to time included the certain legislations that blocked alternative engines such as water-based & vegetable oil-based engines from get into the market to provide more money for oil companies to make from your pockets for many years. It is no-brainer.

Yes it is partly Bush's fault because of his policies but it is partly Bill Clinton's fault too.


Edit: Anyway, I wouldn't surprise if we will have to pay any higher than today's price for gas in the future.

And you wonder why democrats lost the election. John Kerry is close to a liberal like jimmy carter was. Im glad bush is re-elected.

They should make companies pay higher corperate taxes who put gasolene cars on display and give corperate tax breaks who make hybrid,electric and Diesell combine plus if you buy a hybrid,electric and diesell engine car you pay 0% taxes on it. And make homeowners required put a hybid pump on their property if they own a hybrid,electric and diesell car. So that way in the future you wont have to drive in long gas lines so the politicans cant get blamed for it.
 
I own an Oil Drilling Company based in Nevada. I can assure you guys that there are more than 50 years of oil left.

Just stating the fact.
