oh oh another hurricane?

In a word, yes.

I don't think people in Florida and other Southern States can ever
go back home, rebuild and think hurricanes will come back 5 years later.

I think 3 or 6 Hurricanes will hit Florida and other Southern States
every year... :Ohno:

Do you think so?

I guess yall need to move up north... cause it doesn't look good...

I don't know what we did to mess up Earth with global warming and stuff...
or maybe God has a plan or something. :dunno:

Better than movies. Wow, look at News about Hurricane,

unfortunatley yes. august is like the prime month for hurricanes.

i heard on the radio this morning that some houses were flooded to the ceiling.

miss p, hurricane season is july to nov...

sometimes the hurricane can comes up earlier sometimes later...

AJ, do u live around in Panama city ? or Penescola ?

If people in Southern States tired of this weather, well they can
move to Canada, even though it is cold there.

I kinda wish we have Ice Age back, maybe we could have less
tornado, hurricanes, and all...

Ack!!! :ugh:

the only way to get out of the path of hurricanes is to move to the north west. even if u moved to pennsylvania, or ohio...or virginia or even new york, there are still hurricanes. where do u think hurricane Katrina is going? she's going north.

and i love living in the south. and i love bein a souther boy and i love surfing the florida waves....even if they are only like 4 feet.

What cha gonna do if Insurance rates prices go up, then you won't be able to afford that...

And already the gas prices are so expensive...

What cha gonna do then? If you guys keep rebuilding rebuilding and rebuilding if Hurricanes come every year...

Can't just rely on taxpayers and Fema and stuff...

Last thing we need is Tax Hike.

well thats what we're gonna have to deal with. life aint easy u know?

and anyway what are we supposed to do...move?? do u know how many people live in just florida alone?15,982,378. u know how many people live in louisana? 4,468,976 . u know how many people live in the carolinas? both north and south the total population is 12,061,325 now these numbers were recorded in the year 2000...so the total has more than likely grown. now if u add up ALL those big numbers they equal to 32,512,679. again that number has more than likely grown in 5 years so lets round it off to an even 35,000,000. 35 million people!! where do u expect to move all those people??? huh?? danger is always going to be there. its dangerous in the mid west because of tornados, its dangerous in California because of the earthquakes. u cant escape it. so for to say, have everyone move, is a stupid remark and its impossible.

um...we cant move to canada....if u havent noticed...there's canadians living there! duh. and anyway there's no way floridians would ever survive in canada. our winters get down to 32 degrees...and i freeze my balls off in that weather. canada gets WAY colder

I live in the Florida Keys. The lowest our temp gets in the winter is 50 degrees. I could not, and, would not live in Canada.

only 50? That's too warm for me, I love the cold and snow! Seattle in the winter can get low as 20-25 at the nights. Most of the time it will be in the lows of 30-40 degrees range with highs in the 40's.

Yes, Sequoias. The lowest recorded temp was 50 degrees.. Key West has never had a frost that I'm aware of.

I'm the direct opposite of you. I can't take the cold, so this weather is perfect for me. Incidently, the weather in the summertime is wicked. We've been known to have heat indices of 110 or higher, and of course, you've got the hurricane season which runs straight through summer.

yeppers, everyone's different when it comes to adapting with the climates.

We get the fierce windstorms that are equalivent to hurricanes here in the Pacific Northwest, tho they are far more rarer than hurricanes. They happen every 30-40 years on average. Last one was in 1993 when winds were around 80 mph range, and the worst one in 1962 with winds in 80 to 100 mph and some spots up to 140-150 mph.
