Just the facts. Most Americans do not understand what socialism is. Mostly, the hate of socialism is due to paranoia from the Red Scare and the corporate elite. President Obama is hardly a socialist. Far from it.

It's the corporate fascists, not the government that you should be worried about. They are too big for the government to stop.

Ironically enough, corporate fascism is a form of socialism. It has been going on for decades. Ronald Reagan reversed Roosevelt's The New Deal in favour of the corporations. Bill Clinton did the same thing during his terms and now look what happened.

Socialism is where you pay taxes to the government but poor people get paid by the government, so poor people are stealing from me because I work and they're lazy.

Obama is a scary Socialist because he's a Kenyan Mooslim and he makes the government steal my money and makes everything cost a lot and makes people lose their jobs by making companies spend their monies on taxes instead of giving people jobs.

I'm confused... just to clarify, for those who "dont want the government to give my money to the poor", does this mean you want to do away with Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and so on? I know those programs are ALSO for those who worked BUT they still provide for the poor. I'm just trying to find the line between what services are okay even though the poor still use it and what services should be eliminated that benefits only the poor, such as welfare... unemployment...?

No, no, it's easy. All socialism and communism are the same as fascist nazi hitlerism, because they kinda sound the same. And Obama is one of them socialismists, because he passed laws that I disagree with, because it's fascism to pass laws that I don't think most people agree with (even if they really do).

There are many similarities and differences between the two ideological doctrines. Socialism basically is an economic system while communism was designed to control both the political and economic system. Communism is far more limited in terms of freedom and more about control being assigned to small groups. In a socialist country, they want as many people possible to influence the economic system. You won't get that in a communist country.

Although socialism does support capitalism to a certain point. They just don't want the negative effects caused by it to affect the people.
