I'm glad to hear that haven't made hurtful comments. That would be really bad.
 
no, they never had. they love me :) now, if I got involve with their children of my age, it might be a problem, Or maybe they aren't racist as they thought they were??? who knows? but I was never interested in their children anyway.
 
Where I live interracial marriage is common. We have a very large Hispanic population here. Most of the parents who had trouble adjusting to a marriage got over it when the grandchildren arrived. Funny how that works. :D

And thier party oves to make the patriotic rants.
This seems very unpatriotic to me....especially in light of fact we had a great reccession and fighting global terror....and climate.
It's a time to be banding together....not be making kool-aid jokes to belittle a president.

I tell you the most hurtful comment.. it was from my M-i-l about my deafness. She is suppose to be a democrat or more open minded. But my Fil, who is republican and somewhat a racist, was more friendlier and nicer to me about my hearing loss . Never said a harsh word to me about my race or anything. He does not really like indians but he loves our son alot and would do anything for him -- send him to the best school and everything. He is fully aware that our son is partly Indian but he goes around bragging how smart our son is. He helped me too. help paid for my CI implants. I don't really understand it really but that's how it goes. I think it more culture pride than anything else. Once someone break it, they give up the pride (because it is too late) .

Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck are all "superstars" and they have their Kool Aid followers, too! We all know what's happening right now with their rabid base.

You are right. Correction: Woodrow Wilson was the only president with a Ph.D.
 
Woodrow Wilson was very much the academia type. I looked it up and his Ph.D. was in history and political science. Interesting. . . Historians generally rank Wilson pretty high.

Lol, I've been wondering if they're as patriotic as they clamed given all that they said about Obama. I also remember what the military had to say about Clinton.

And I agree we need to band together.
