In addition to the reckless driving charge, authorities cited Bollea for using a motor vehicle in commission of a felony, being a driver under 21 while operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of .02 percent or higher and having illegal window tinting. The blood-alcohol level at which Florida law presumes a driver to be impaired is .08 percent.

What did window tinting have do with all this?![]()
Ofc window tinting has nothing to do with this ancident. Anyway that's strange cuz I used to live in Clearwater, FL for 20 years (1985-2005), it was legally to have windows tinting. Perhaps the law has been changed after I moved out?![]()
Heavy tint windows = suspicious to the police.
Oh okay ... I just remember it's depend on what percent of tinting on widows. One time back in sometimes 2000, my mother in law was living in Chicago at that time and Illinois was forbidden to have window tinted at any percent, so she has had her doctor's note for letting her have it because of her medication that the sun ray can not touch her skin (easy bruises from sun). Because Illinois don't have a company to do that, she came down to my area in Clearwater, to have her vehicle's windows tinted. I don't remember what percents, perhaps 20% tinting. I have some tinting on my van windows too, not too dark tho.
