New contest idea - help me out here, will ya!?

Suggest use pay pal or money order, would be eligable!

I have done experience other country.. use International Money Order which it's cool!
Ain't problem at all.. *smile*

How about this for those who lives out of country could send them money order or cashier check. And for those who lives in USA could get gift certificate. But had to be at the same amount for both usa and other country. :D I know it hassle but what choice do you have?

Cashier check is not good idea. I had an experience for recieved cashier check from my friend of oversea once - never again. She paid $25 charge for exchange $ into EURO to make a cheque and then extra cost for register to mail me and then I also pay EURO 7.50 charge to get money from those cheque because cheque is not from Europe but oversea. Which it's too much for her and me.

It's cheapest thing is:
Exchange from $ to EURO to get cash in your own Bank then enclosed cash in letter or card with register mail is cheapest than. All what you paid extra is register mail which it's not much than ask for cheque to make EURO on it... and plus register mail....... and I has to pay charge to rid of cheque... *sigh*

yah but not all ladies would want to go to spa. for example me, i am not a spa freak or anything. i would prefer xbox instead lol
 
*exhales* make up to Alex's mind and making his decision buying prize for AD'ers... what the motivated for challenge prizes related specific constant ?
 
think creative... being silly..or weird? How about making a sign that say ALLDEAF.COM (make one, painting, or drawing, or whatever) and take pic of urself in an odd, weirdest place ... impossible to have this done but you succeeded? hmm....



as for the prizes.... gift certificate at any stores.. or gadgets like calcuators, games, cds, whatever.. something we all can use and be fair?

tickets to sport events.. coupons to eat out.. hmmm.... i fi got more ideas i will post.. ok.. :)

Here is my suggestion:

How about Artwork contest? (I mean our artwork - create the pretty pictures etc...what you ask us to do... Example AllDeaf on background picture... ? or whatever...) then you pick 4 best artworks then make poll for members to vote which one... What do you think?
 
how about the person who gets the biggest tattoo that says "www.alldeaf.com"...... :laugh2:

I was thinking u know with sooo many alldeaf users here and all.. a contest just for a piece of property that alex has to pay for and to ship it out to various parts of the world or whatnot... why not just simple give something nice and free and show the gift of love. cuz we are part of alldeaf. and just give your mods something like a gift card for thier hard work for this past yr. thats my thinking. contest is nice and all for healthy fun
but we shld have something to share not to be greedy for a prize and use something speical or mainly for me. im donating some money to the american red cross in honor of the hurricane relif those thats why we gotta think of others not the website this yr IMO.. u don t have to agree.....
 
That sounds like a good idea. But, what about those who can't draw?

Last year, it was something that everyone could do... so that was a fair contest. :)
 
Forget the contest, just hand me the Xbox 360 and everybody'll be disappointed but at least I'll be happy!
