*sigh*

Yesterday afternoon, I was backing out of a parking space and was ready to shift into drive when I felt a bump on my fender... I looked over and there was a white car that had backed into my right rear fender.

The lady was very nice, she admitted it was her fault, and gave me her information... however, my poor Gift has paint damage and a few fiberglass gouges... only five months old and already getting battle scars!!!

Now I gotta deal with insurance companies, estimates, reports all over again...six months after my poor Toy was completely totaled.

I don't need this, I didn't need that, and I don't want to deal with any more!!

i hate when it happens

i remember when my dad car got on fire it was scary

Oh no.. i hate that when it happens.. it sucks dealing with all of the hassles with the insurance company. I remmy being there before 3 yrs ago when i was in a car accident.. a guy was only 19 and he was drunk.. ramming into the back of my car and he had the gall to blame on the road being wet? it was not wet? duh at him! jeez. :hyper:

cop took him to jail and book him for dui .. i had to go to hospital cuz of bad headaches and sore neck .. to make sure im ok .. found out my potassium was depleted so had to get shots and pills for that..accident happened at 4:50 pm. i was on way to pick my order up from a restaurant.sighs. it happened in front of a restaurant. ugh.. so i didnt had a dinner? :( so when i got out of ER.. i finally had my dinner at 9 pm along with banana shake for dessert.. I was worn out and went to bed early that night.. I never forgot that.. :(

i trade my poor car 1990 chevy cavalier in for newer but used car 2000 chevy cavalier. I sure miss my old car.. :(

you will be ok, dd.. :( hugs..

sorry to hear that as well, it sucks when someone scratched your car by accident.

Ouch! Your poor car been through enough bumper to bumper cars accidents. ;)

I think you need to get a bumper sticker to inform all drivers to step the hell away from your car 50 feet away would do it.

I'm wondering, why do you call your car "gift" ?

is it a gift form someone else?

Aww I am sorry it happened!

One lady almost hit us today! She said move your butt! NO YOU STAY THERE till I turn left after the light was green!!!! Piss me off!

DD,
Dang, I felt bad about your car...
btw insurance would pay you some and repair polish and paint it to make sure 100% total perfect color!

Dang that sux! It's a good thing that it's only a minor accident. I mean it could have been worse. Most importantly that you are ok.

 I am sorry what you have been going thru. I know that feeling. My truck got dent and stratch from the kids. Dang kids!!! Stay the hell away from my truck. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR that the feeling I get. Been there and done that.

Smiles - yes, GT-Racing... my grandmother passed away last December, three days before my Toyota was totalled in an accident - the day after the accident, I had to leave for Kansas - very sore in body and spirit... and I was surprised to find out that Gma had left me money in her will, so I used some of it to buy a 2006 Dodge Magnum - and also got the very last quilt she had been working on before she got sick. Mom finished the quilt off, and gave it to me. Therefore, the car was named Gift and the quilt has a place of honor in it.

Now you can understand why I'm still upset about the scratches. I have to call the dealer today to make an appointment for an estimate. However, the insurance company situation is VERY MUCH DIFFERENT from what I went through with Toy. The adjuster is very nice and pleasant, and told me what I needed to do and very cooperative. Now why can't all insurance companies be like that???

Yes, I hope to have it fixed before the AD Caucus - I wanna strut and show off Gift!!! Smiles...heh heh.
