Driving on snow's fun but sharing the road with other drivers is a big :nono:
The reason?

Yesterday morning I was suppose to drive over to my sister's apt at 7am to watch my mom while sis go to work since my ma got out of hospital for knee surgery which required 24/7 supervision over my mom so I volunteered yesterday. ANYWAY I got up at 6:30 instead of 6am cuz I were so tired and looked out the window and :ugh: saw alot of blanket snowing outside I couldn't see my car from my apt. So I didn't take a shower, just dressed up and went out to my car to warm up, easily I could push the snow off my car but felt it was heavy snow so I knew it was snow and rain mix which make snow heavier so it's gonna be a dangerous driving during morning rush hour...
3 blocks away from my sister's apt, a moron was driving little faster and acting like he know how to drive, so he got into my lane then slam the brake on me so I swerved and hit the curb which my rear left tire was bent and thankfully this stupid driver smashed the street light. So this morning I couldn't wait and drive around with a bented tire so i drove to my dealership and got it fixed for 80 bucks instead of thousands of dollar getting fixed from the accident if I got into it again... :madfawk: drivers who think their SUVs can drive good on snow!

I am sorry to hear about that, but I'm glad that you are all right. Is that you who got in an accident few times last year (2004) or something? Or it must be someone else I can't remember when I read the posts.

oh no not again!!!!!!!!!!!! oh man!!!!!!!!!! but i am glad that u not get hurt yet..

Sorry buddy that happened to you, I know the feeling about fast drivers, when the weather is bad, it should be smart to drive slow and carefully as possible because, you never know that you might slide into another traffic lane. If I see a rushing person speeding up I always move into another lane, because, when they are so rushy, accidents can happen, and I wanna avoid that. What you did was pretty smart, you would have gotten worst.

To be honest I am a very slow driver when it comes to bad weather so watch out. LOL!

ur very lucky u didn't cause much damage to your car and ur all right, also. :) You could have go ahead crash into his car and teach him a lesson, but too much hassles, anyways.

Years ago I lived in Longmont and worked at IBM. I can remember one morning I almost made it to work when some moron did a left turn 100 ft in front of me. I grew up in TX and didn't have experience driving in snow. I hit my brakes and my HUGE Buick did a 3/4 doughnut. I almost s*** my pants. When I finally stopped I had to wait 5 min for traffic to stop and allow me to straighten out. Better to drive slow and careful than have an accident.

That reminds me of a near-miss accident when I had just turned 18 and fresh out of high school. I was driving on the freeway and it was about 2am in the morning. I was heading back home...while driving -- I noticed high beam lights in the rearview window and I looked up, could see a car coming up pretty fast and then changed lanes to pass me. Once he passed me, suddenly, I was seeing the side of the car in FRONT of me! He had fishtailed and did a full circle around and ran off the road across from where I was.

Phew...close call!

I hate people like that. It happened to my ex-girlfriend once. She was driving and his guy in a blue van cut her off so bad that it forced her to the curb. Because of that, she had to have her tires re-aligned and replaced. :fu2:
