Much of U.S. is cold and getting colder

Ok, let's get to the whole picture correctly... IPCC said we'll see an increase of 2 degrees in 2080. How many of you will be still alive by then? Not me.

Just because this year is the coldest os far doesn't mean there's no global warming. Like global warming deniers say that there was a warming period during Medieval age but what they failed to note is that it was extremely local and the rest of the country wasn't as warm as it is now.

Look at this map:

because there weren't 6.6 billion people on every corners of the world back then.... and they didn't have machines.

There are some spots that are COLDER than the rest in the past decade but it does NOT mean that there's no global warming. There are MORE hot areas than ever despite some spots being colder than ever.

Now, this is what it is predicted to happen in 2070 to 2100 (I doubt any of us will be alive by then):

No more blue spots. The entire globe is warming up.

However, as scary as it may look, you need to think ahead - because the top has the most increase in temperature does NOT mean that it's gonna be hotter than Texas - it doesn't. The increase is calculated relative to the history of temperature, not how hot it will be.
it's somewhat misleading. the interpretation is misleading. Point a thermal gun at a house with family inside and it will light up. then point a thermal gun at the same house in daytime and nothing will show up because the house's empty as kids are at school and parents are at work. Point is - of course you will see "hot" area everywhere on Earth because there are people living in it but it doesn't mean they caused global warming :)

Are men responsible for this warming period? Likely.
men contributed to warming but men is not the primary cause of global warming. It's just something we do not understand yet.

Is it possible for the Earth to be cold? Yes but there has to be something dramatic.
well it's already a known historical fact that Earth has went thru Ice Age several times. Are we going thru it? no... not for another several hundred thousand years :)

Contrary to what you think, it doesn't require much chemicals or manmade gases to cool down. Remember aerosol? They helped cool the earth and when we banned it, the earth started to warm faster. That provides evidence that we do influence the climate.
no. not at all. Aerosol and chemical gas did not affect the climate. It affected our environment. Aerosol especially CFC were banned because it SUPPOSEDLY caused ozone hole.

Efficiency has nothing to do with warming.

Halogen generates A LOT MORE heat while consuming LESS energy than an incandescent bulb.
This is the post I was replying to:

"If you get like 25 long lasting candles and light them in your bathroom, your bathroom will get warmer as time goes by."
