Hey Cheri....I was planning to watch both of those movies "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Van Helsing" this weekend, but does "Ven Helsing" shows any blood since you said its about vampires? Because I want to make sure..."The Day After Tomorrow", is it almost same compare as NY Sept. 11th or something?? Let me know about that...Thanks

BTW, I haven't rent any movies lately but plan to do that this weekend :D

I own both of them. ;)

Great movies! :thumb:

I didn't rent any. I borrowed some free from the library yay! If your library doesn't have video, then they are old fashioned as one library is from an old town over here.

Anyway, I borrowed silly childish movies of the past that I won't mention except for Lilo and Stitch which I haven't seen LOL, but I got The good Girl damn sex part I haven't seen because mom is like so iffy about them. Glad I saw it when she wasn't around LOL. The other is Simone (haven't seen that one). hmmmm what else, Something about Harvard--damn I can't remember names....so I'll leave it at that!

Hmm? I'm confused now because there's another thread that is titled, 'I just watched....'movies' -- that can be for either theatre or hired dvd/video. :dunno: Vampy...?

By the way, 'Day After Tomorrow' was awesome -- I also saw 'Taking Lives' (hired both of them on dvd's last week. Saw Van Helsing a few months ago...also on dvd. :D

I've rented "texas chainsaw masschates" with my ex last week and frankly enough, it was actually pretty weird and spooky, but the story was somewhat so-so and certainly alot of people got killed but one survived and it was a good ending though...

very good acting on some people and too much blood and gore everywhere...bleh but still, it was an interesting movie

Which version? I'm guessing you saw the recent version. Have you seen the first version? It was made in the 80s (or 70s?).
