Oceanbreeze said:I agree with you, Pomeranian. But, this is not something that should be laughed about or be grossed out over. Granted, the pictures are appalling, but you have to remember that eating disorders are diseases that KILL. The women who are that thin are in danger of losing their lives. Please remember that.
I find it to be quite sad.
Pomeranian said:I know my first post was not a pleasure one but what I was saying it grossed for the models to be so thin and letting these girls thinking it ok to be that thin. But lot of time the agency want the girls to lose weight before they become model or any kind of sport activity. It is so disgusted to look at that. Yes, it is a killer disease.
I used to wear size 4 and at that time I was wishing to gain some pound. I was never able to do so even though I ate alot. Then I gain my weight about 4 months after I got married to my 2nd exh. I went from 95 lbs to 107 lbs. Then I got pregnant and after had a baby. I weight 117 lbs. I would rather stay where I am at. I dont ever want to go back to 95 ever again. My lowest weight was 85 lbs that was because I was tired all the times due to my heart condition which require for me to have a surgery. After I had my surgery I went back up to 95 lbs.

Cheri said:I do think it looks gross that they show their bones, It doesn't look good so I think we all have the right to be honest how we feel, so that is how I feel toward those models. It is not worth losing your life over eating disorders.
Oceanbreeze said:I understand now what you were saying. It is pretty appalling to see girls so desperately thin. But, rather than react with revulsion, I guess I feel sorry for these girls. It sounds like you've struggled with your weight for other reasons. I'm glad things are better for you now.

most models probably are like that... but i think some of them were pretty healthy reasonably.. i mean.. they do eat right and they gotta watch their weight all the time.. but i personally think its sad that they have to watch their weight all the time.. they cant even work out to make more muscles cuz that would increase weight and they cant eat junk cuz of calories bullshyt .. but some of them DO eat healthy and are healthy... only reason why im kinda defending them cuz i know a couple of small time models and i know friends who are friends with supermodels and those seem to be okay... but then... they are known for hiding the eating plms... so i really wouldnt know for real.. *shrugs*
btw i lost in touch with them a while ago so i dunno if they are still healthy nowadays.
EDIT: by the way.. .im 5'3", weight only 95-100 and forever trying to gain weight LOL my doctor said i got unusual high metabolism (spelling???)
12 lbs within 3 weeks that is alot.
