Migraine, make this PAIN stop.

No I have noth done anything that would cause my head to hurt. Allergies sparked the first minor headaches, then the headache just grew worse with each passing day. Stress is also one of my biggest stressors. School, finances, activities, and my cat being sick is all stressing me out. I was hoping that this headache would be gone (Saturday) but I woke up with it even being worse. I am going to just stay in bed all day, I wish I had more Stargate to watch. Make it a marathon day, but I got my grandpa addicted to Stargate so he has all my season dvds. lol.
Tsk tsk tsk... You should have given him just one season after you've watched them. ;)

Finish season one? Give him season one while you watch season two. If he finishes season one before you finish season two, make him wait for you until you finish season two. If you finish season two before he finishes season one, then make him wait until he finishes season one before you give him season two in exchange for giving back season one. ;)

My friend did that once... gave his roommate all his Babylon 5 DVDs. They all ended up being scratched and my friend didn't get to finish watching them. :(

FYI, Migraines will not cure.. Just stuck forever.. :(
Not necessarily.

I used to have extremely bad migraines. I couldn't even get out of bed. I thought for sure I had a fatal tumor that would explode in my brain. It was awful.

My dad and his mother (my grandmother) also had migraines.

I had them really bad from about age 20 to 45. Then they began to taper off. Now, I haven't had any migraines for almost 10 years.

I think they might have been influenced by hormone fluctuations, or a combination of factors. Heredity was probably one factor.

For my grandmother, chocolate and other foods triggered her headaches.

My dad was an alcoholic and had bad health habits, so no telling what triggered his. :dunno:

All three of us were perfectionist people, so that probably didn't help. :D

I agree. I used to get migraines all the time but now I rarely ever get them. I used to wonder if it was possible to die from the pain. It was that bad.
Yes, I used to think I would die from the headaches. It was awful.

Jasmine4lakshmi & Reba,

Yes, I know what it alike... It's really HORRIBLE than severe headache...

I suffered migraine attack when I was a little girl and it stops when I was 11 years old when I got my first period. It come back soon after I moved to live in Germany ... I suffer for long years until after birth of my second son... It quit... I haven't get it for long time since birth of my 2nd son... *knock on wood*

When migarine attack comes... I cannot walk... just stop and pray that migarine don't come... it did come... I go to corner to cover my head and eyes with my both hands... Of course public... when I was at shopping... or at work place... horrible... when I was at home... my hubby got me to bedroom with dark room.... my body was full sweat... and vomit sometimes... nobody should touch me when i had migarine attack...

There are some QXCI services in your country. Some chiropractors have the QXCI machine in their office. Just look up on Google to find one in your area.

That's the problem--migraine sufferers are usually "healthy" except for the headaches.

Yes, it seems that heredity is a component of migraines.

At least there are more variety of medications available now. When I had my headaches just Tylenol/Motrin and caffergut (super caffeine) were available.

I hope you can find some relief soon.

Ask your doctor about "Imitrex". It is a very POWERFUL pill to end migraine. I used to get them very bad, and Imitrex was only drug to work. Then, I learned my migraines were caused by allergies, so I stopped eating wrong foods, and avoid dusty places and guess what? No migraine now for 10 years!!!!!!

Hello Jasmine...I see you are from Oklahoma! Im a native
Oklahoman too but currently living in New York and have
been for 2 years now..
Anyways, i truly understand your suffering because i do
suffer from migraines and have for years so i would suggest
for you to do is go to the dr and he will evaluate the cause
of your migraines as he did me at first like cat scan to make
sure there is no brain tumors. Im now taking prescription
Imitrex and it is just wonderful but it not for everybody. Of
course there are many other kinds of pain relievers that will
work for you. Good luck!!

Oh by the way, the reasons for my migraines were hereditary.

I second that. I took an Imitrex for migraine. It helped me a lot.

Jasmine, I feel for you because today, I've been hit with a BAD migraine. I spent most of the day being in bed trying to ward it off. It went down a little bit (which is good) but still, I felt like my head has been hit by a freight train or so to speak.

I get migraine once in a while and when I do, I know it is usually a sign that my body tells me otherwise. It's starting to become a little bit more frequent now.

My mother used to have migraine once in a while just like me and when she got older, it became a lot more frequent. So, when she had the hysterectomy, it helped and she's been migraine free for few years now.
